Very good for the dorm room - thumbs up!

Comfortable, and looks nice too. It is low and fold out easily and folds all the way open for a bed - perfect for a dorm room visitor to sleep on. Yea! Good price, good solution.

    Good for kids teens.

This chair is good for kids and teens. Ive had it for a year now. I got the blue because I knew kids would eat while sitting on it. The fabric is durable and easy to clean by wiping with a damp cloth. The zipper broke after a week. It would be better if it was Velcro. The foam could be denser, but its around $100, so its to be expected. From the picture it looks like it just flips open. I was expecting it to be like those little kid flip couches. It actually has a metal frame inside. The way you work it is the same way as those old fashioned vinyl strapped beach lounge chairs where you have to push the back towards the seat til it clicks then it clicks back to recline. It sits upright at a 90 degree angle then reclines 2 more positions until it is flat. When it was new I was able to sleep on it it was very comfortable, but after using it for a few days, the cushion sagged at the seat, thats why I recommend it for kids.

Its perfect for a guest bedroom.

To recline the back you must pull the back as far forward as it will go then it releases and will lay flat for a bed then you pull it back forward to your desired position it clicks into place for each position. Also after you assemble to footrest and go to add it to the chair lift it up to slide it under the chair but over the wheels on the chair. These were the things I didnt see in the instructions and figured out while assembling the chair bed. This may be simple to some but maybe not to others, so included it with my review. The chair is firm but still comfortable and it looks really nice and doesnt take up much space. On a scale of easy-mild-medium-moderate-hard, I would say it fell on mild it only had 10 steps but some of the pictures and or directions didnt specify orientation of the parts so for that reason it got bumped up from easy. It only took 30 minutes to completely assemble and anytime I got stuck I watched the product video on the product page.

Pretty comfortable and great extra sleep space

This was pretty simple to build even though there were a million parts, it did take me an hour but I was being careful and taking my time. Its pretty comfortable, not amazing but more than good enough as an extra chair. The pullout bed portion is really neat, saves a ton of space and with a topper its more than good enough for a surprise overnight guest. The chair is really wide which is nice, you never feel confined. The mechanism to pull the bed in and out is easy to use and so has glided easily. Over all I really like this chair, itll come in extra handy over the holidays.

    Its an ok chair

My son already ran over cord for vibration. Messed up. He said overall he likes the chair. Just disappointed easy to tear up cord if you are not very careful.
