Was really excited about this but honestly there were many chips in the wood that make me believe it is not the best quality wood. Also it does not look true to color!
We have only had the foundation for a few days now, but I am very impressed by the quality of the foundation. In total, it took about 1/2 hour for 2 people to put together. The instructions were clear and concise and the numbering system on the parts made assembly a cinch. Once we put the mattress on the foundation, we were impressed with the stability of the mattress. There is no sound or creaks while moving in the bed. We both need to watch where we walk a little more carefully, as other reviewers have pointed out / but thats not a reason to deduct a star from this review. I will update my review in the future if anything changes but so far, so good! Great price and somewhat durable.
This thing is aming. My girlfriend and I have given it a run for its money, and its still dead silent after almost a year.
Heavy, solid/wood pieces, good looking finish, even anodizing on the , no nicks or tool marks.
Slats seemed flimsy at first, but they held up.
Only complaints are one of the welds ran a bit (big surprise with automated welders) and that I ended up wishing Id chosen a different color. Looks nice and sturdy.
It is well designed. The only thing we added during assembly were teflon pads on the legs to make it easier to move around. All the holes matched up well and it seems very sturdy. Very happy at this point. thanks great product.
Took about 10 mins to assemble (by myself), very sturdy, put to test and mattress does not slide at all (as other reviews said) and I didnt use the velcro. Extremely happy with this purchase! easy assemble, exactly as expected, space saver.
Out of the box the frame looked great and was everything we wanted; simple and doesnt look cheap. Its fits the Nectar matress we bought perfectly. Sleeping on it was fine, and its very comfortable however, if you plan on doing something in the bed other than sleep, be advised that the crossbar and support legs are not very sturdy and the screws were easily bent along with the center bar.
Im definitely not a little guy but Im not 300 pounds either; neither is my wife.
After we got finished assembling this bed which took us maybe 15 mins top I looked at Bryan and told him im writing a review for this. I dont usually for products with a lot of reviews. Anyways for the money this goes beyond. Extremely easy to assemble and as an engineer it appeased my mind the way this was designed and thought out with the customer in mind. The instructions were big and easy to follow. They gave you spare parts. Just aming Looks solid, easy to assemble.
Fulfilled by , shipping took 2 days and they brought it up to our 4th floor apt door for us. Pretty hassle free. Got the king size, ordered the natural color but on the box it says rustic as the color. Oh well, not to big of a deal breaker I guess. Assembled in about 30 min as others have said. Seems pretty solid, jumped on the bed a bit after laying mattress on top and hasnt been making any noise or moving around. So far so good! The frame has some scuffs from shipping but again not to much of a deal breaker. We dont have a box spring and just wanted a sturdy frame. With the comforter hanging over the edge we barley see the frame anyways. Overall happy with purchase so far.
Update: weve had this bed frame for about 3 years now. No problems with the slats as others have mentioned, doesnt wobble doesnt make noise. The only issue with it now is that our dog got ahold of one of the corners and chewed it up. Considering sanding and repainting a darker color to go with our new bedroom
Furniture. Overall was a great buy, were still very happy with it. Value for money.
