Looks nice happy with the purchase I ordered this to replace a cal king platform bed - wanted something a bit shorter and wider.. it is great quality - this would go for double the price in a nice furniture showroom.. it is HEAVY (which is a good thing) and took about 20-30 minutes to build.

If you do not use a box spring your mattress will sit Very low to the ground. There is a boarder around the side that does stickout some so you have to get use to it so you do not hit your leg. But a great bed!
Affordable and very nice! I love this bed. While it is very beautiful, my husband did beef it up a little to make it sturdier, but nice golden wood tone, solid wood, very nice. But be aware that the headboard has a swoop to it that makes it stick out from the wall several inches that doesnt show in the picture.

Solid construction, a nice finish and sleek look make this a 4-star bed. It never creaks or cracks when I toss and turn on it, and giving it a good shake wont cause it to fall apart. The polished aluminum accents give it a slightly modern feel, and it doesnt take up a whole lot of room space, which I like.
I do have a couple of gripes about the bed, however. Installation was not the easiest. As another reviewer mentioned, the L brackets used to attach the frame do not make it easy to line up and it would be much easier with two people. Just an annoyance. The slats are not of the best quality, and some were a little warped and longer than others. It took a decent amount of shuffling and wedging to get them in just right.
The biggest thing is the center supports. Just as yet another reviewer pointed out, they dont touch the ground. Not even close. I had to get under there and unscrew them to the point where theyre almost falling out for them to graze carpet. I bought some rubber feet to stick under them just so theyd be resting on something. Its like they either measured incorrectly and just went with it, or eyeballed the center legs. Not good, but some rubber feet did the trick.
Overall its a nice bed, and for the people wondering how to match furniture with this, there are matching nightstands and chests. I do own the nightstand and it matches beautifully. I cant speak to other brands, but I like the matching aesthetic of the set.
Sturdy and amazing for the cost! I was a little reluctant to buy a bed on-line but the price was great and I really wanted a cal-king bed with drawers, which has been hard to find. The bed was delivered promptly and was well packed. No damage at all to the bed. It was a little challenging to put together, mostly due to the instructions which didnt have many diagrams. Once put together, the bed is very sturdy. It does not shake or squeak. The wood is a beautiful dark brown with a hint of red and the finish is soft and glossy. The bed has nice clean lines, somewhat of a modern look I would say. There is a little space underneath the bed but you cant really store anything under it as there are a lot of support legs. But that is what makes it so sturdy! I just put a mattress on this, it does not need a box spring. Overall, I am very pleased. I absolutely love this bed!!
2017 update: bed is still in great condition. We have not once needed to adjust or fix the frame. It is still as sturdy as ever. One thing negative is occasionally the drawers will open on their own, at random times. Other than that, still loving it!

Great deal!! High quality and great design! This bed arrived VERY well packaged to keep each solid wood piece in pristine condition. Assembly took 2 ladies about 30 minutes to put together and make the bed. Instructions were easy to follow. The drawers are a bit smaller then what they could have been for the size of the bed for depth... but well placed so you can have a night stand next to the bed without making any of the drawers non usable (and website does list drawer dimensions)... the bed is a true deep espresso finish. VERY well made. Love It!
Keep up the good work,i will buy your products again!!!!!! My only complaint is that I keep stubbing my toes on the end. Some bedframes are designed to avoid this...
great value for the money, great quality This bed is perfect.......solid wood, it is just the right height and size. It holds in your mattress,which I have a foam one. The only minus is it has a sharp edge at the two ends so I just put some edge protectors on them.
