Went together easy, all parts were there. A small ding on one of the panels that went through the paint. Biggest complaint is the cubbies are too small for most men’s shoes and boots.
Assembly took a long time, but I was able to do it alone. The shoe rack is really small. You can fit four pairs of adult shoes per shelf IF you place/stack them just right, with one pair hanging off the side. If you've got shoe heathens like I do, you'll not fit more than 3. I solved this with a clear plastic bin on the bottom shelf. Dimensions: 23.625 x 16.375 x 6.5 height for the bin I used, which fits about perfect (see image). Kindergartener sized shoes fit nicely slid just underneath
It's daunting at first with assembly but it's easier than it looks. It's sturdy, visually appealing and nice. Funky system to attach it to the wall though. It uses a zip tie. My zip tie wouldn't stay zipped.
The shoe compartments are askew on mine. I triple checked the assembly and there's no way to fix it. The shelves don't sit level. The pegs are off.
I've read reviews saying this is hard to assemble. Seriously it's not that hard overall. The assembly connecting top to bottom requires 2 people or it would be 5 star.
I would suggest when connecting top to bottom start a pilot hole from the base.. back the screws out.. the with base unattached finish the hole. This will allow you to attach the top without putting yourself in a comfortable position to leverage driving the screws in
Good luck
For the price and the function it’s built for it stands for what it is. If you’re a DIY kinda person you’d have no problem installing it. There’s a lot of hardware and screws and at first I was like no way this is gonna turn out to be what I purchased. All the pieces fitted well and nothing was missing. So far we love it just wished it was a bit bigger.
I really like this unit it fit perfectly in the small entry way spot. Would have been easier to put together if I had helping hands, but one person can manage. It seems very sturdy, the only thing is I wish the hooks weren’t quite so narrow, that they came out more. As well pros and cons that they can move back and forth.
Please be more specific of what guidelines I didn't meet. All I can see is that I didn't give you a 5 star review. You pick and choose what to post according to YOUR discretion which is your choice. However I will not write another review to get my review posted. Word of mouth is great and now that I see that you are more concerned about your ratings on your product gives me even more to talk about.
Like I said we like the product but would have love to have received what we ordered.

It's a good purchase
This is a nice addition to our entranceway landing area. The only issue is that the directions weren't that great.
Nice unit, needs bigger cubbies

Easy assembly
Bottom cubes may be a bit small but still functional
