Overall we are very pleased with this. We wanted to do custom mudroom cabinetry but that was going to be $3,000-$5,000.00 Considering this purchase was around 10% of custom we consider it a great deal. No it is not as sturdy as custom woodwork but it is also a fraction of the cost. This is nearly instant and a great solution. Also we were very pleased that it is fairly sturdy unlike a lot of Walmart low quality furniture. The back panels are thin but they are only to "close" off the back and make it look solid. The actual frame is pretty nice and sturdy for our needs. The main issue we have is the shoe holders claim to hold up to about size 13 adult. They are plenty deep but not very tall. I have some running shoes sized 11.5 (see pics) and if I was not willing to squish my shoes they would not fit. You can see side by side how much wider my shoes are than the cubby so I have to squish them and put one shoe sideways. This is better for low shoes definitely not regular or high tops. If my shoes were new and not sort of broken on the frame I would not want to squish them in and potentially damage them. Minor detail. We can always store less kids shoes and do 1 adult shoe per cubby instead of a pair Again, this is NOT in my opinion cheap Walmart quality but not also custom solid oak haha. Overall very pleased. You get what you pay for and in this case we got more than we paid for. I feel like the quality we received is closer to $500.00 value.
So I’m torn. Do I think this is worth $200? No. $150 tops! The pieces all came damage free but not one of the pieces were labeled, so it was a complete guessing game. It’s sorta common sense which piece is what, but very frustrated none of them were labeled. The shoe part is on the smaller size, as you see in my picture the shoes one fit one in at a time. My husbands boots do not fit. The backing is cardboard, which is why I do not think this is worth $200. It’s great for a smaller space, it does its job, not too excited I paid $200 for it.
A very good explanation of how to put it together, very long but take your time and you can do it. Definitely need two people to put it together. It seemed a lot smaller when completed , than what I had hoped for though
Needed to add 1/4" wood screws to hold down the hangers because none were available in the packaging. But other then that this was one of the easiest products I've had to assemble. Would recommend to anyone.
This is perfect for our garage entry mud room. I added small baskets to center cubby holes for gloves and sunglasses. For the money this works well for our family.
I took recommendations from other buyers and didn’t attach the cardboard backing. Everything was included that I needed. But as my last thing to do was put the shelves in, they were uneven. I’ll purchase bins or baskets to go it. It is very useful for my need, a place to drop items as I get my keys to open the door. I like the look of the west area, and yes it supports me and isn’t wobbly.
I really like this Mr. Ironstone Hall Tree piece. It's perfect for small spaces as I needed something for the small hall entrance to my apartment where one can put shoes and hang jackets, purses etc. I also like the look and it's amazing how much you can hang and fit there. I have a "no shoes in the house" policy so it's perfect for visitors to leave their shoes and whatever else. Especially because of the smaller space I now have. The only thing for me is that it is hard to clean the floor underneath as the gap left between the legs and first shelf from the floor ends up being super short. But I just use my hand in that case and a swiffer wipe as I have floors. Otherwise, if you don't mind that, I personally don't because all else totally outweighs the functionality. It is also a nice look and was easy to assemble if you pay attention. One thing that it is also important is to make sure you install the anchor straps to the wall. Don't skip that part because it will tilt forward with the weight of stuff you hang on it.
Great buy and very happy with it!
I like this for my space but could have gotten a similar one at ikea for less. It was too easy just to have it delivered. It looks good and does the job. Seems sturdy enough. Assembly was easy.

Cute but small
