I wasn’t expecting anything glamorous for the money, but for a few dollars more they could have made a huge difference. The backboard is awful. It’s just taped together and it’s just barely more than cardboard. Mine was actually peeling. It wasn’t worth sending it back for because it’s super heavy and kind of a pain to put together. The hooks look good but they’re basically painted plastic. A better backboard and heavier hooks and this would be perfect.
Assembly for the most part wasn't hard, just time consuming. That is, until the last step. The last step requires you to attach the shoe organizer base to the coat hanger top. However the only guiding holes here are underneath part of the shoe base, there is nothing in the bottom of the top nor the top of the base to guide you in lining up these screws and it is EXTREMELY difficult to attach them correctly. Despite us spending over an hour on this one singular step desperately trying to get the screws to go in we ended up damaging part of the top because the screws weren't aligning. Now it wobbles when you push on the top. We are going to get Gorilla Glue to connect these parts more securely because otherwise it's not secure at all, and then we'll have to use some decor items to cover up the damages from that screw. So, that part was disappointing. I'm happy to have a wall tree, but I'd have rather spent a bit more and gotten the product built for me and delivered that way. No more flat-pack furniture for me. After this piece we have sworn to never buy another piece of flat pack furniture.
Received this yesterday and assembled this morning. Easy to assemble. Did it all by myself with no issues until I went to insert the two shelves. Neither one of them fits where the pegs go. Am so disappointed, but won't disassemble and return. Too much trouble. Beware. If you plan to leave them out and use baskets you'll be fine.
Advertised assembled width states 23.5”. Manufacturer’s site states 23.5” assembled width. Bought two to fit in to a 47” space. Guess what? Each assembled width is 23 5/8”, which resulted in the top cap not fitting in the space at all. Only found this out once everything was assembled and placed into nook where it was meant for. Now I have to go out and buy a 47” x 12.5” melanin board just to cap off both units.
Oh, and the melanin chips quite easily too. Handle with care.
Not super sturdy until fixed to the wall. Easy enough to put together, when they say you need two people to lift it's not because it's heavy it's because it will break under the pressure.
Put these together. They fit and work well in our space. The slats holding together the shoe compartment are a little flimsy, which is to be expected for the price. Overall a good product considering the price.
This halltree was easy to put together. The instructions were simple and it took a total of 1 hour for me to put it together. The shelves do not line up properly but my husband made some adjustments for me and it worked. The wood is pressed wood with laminate. The halltree is not heavy and does not feel like it will support a body but it does. The price is on par with the quality and my 3 year old loves it for her room.

Really heavy, backboard cheap.

The final step is extremely difficult.

Definitely need to people to lift

Good for the price

It is not 72 inches high, it is much shorter
It is cheaply made and not 72 inches high, it is much shorter.
Looks nice and sturdy enough
