Bought this for my daughter but she didnt open it right away it was a house warming gift from me but when she did open it many pieces were missing it was three stools but we only had one complete stool the other 2 there were pieces missing so it was worthless wasted money.
Two went together rather easily, one leg didnt fit the hole well and it made the stool unbalanced. Sadly, I feel like the stools are not built well enough to handle an average size person. They tend to have a bit of a creak sound when sitting on them and leaning forward. The butt size is a bit on the small side.
Wonderful sturdy wood, great color, but anytime I have had to construct a chair that comes in pieces in a box, the screws eventually work themselves loose, the glue doesnt hold and they become a stability issue within a few months. Wish they could sell them assembled.
Holes on the bottom of the saddle were not drilled evenly or nearly deep enough. Made legs uneven and I did not have access to a drill bit of that size. Not impressed
The stool is naturally wobbly. The legs are different lengths. The dowels dont fit into the joints during construction. They require you to glue the thing together, which is not heavy duty. All in all, terrible construction and not sturdy. Bought it because the price point seemed great, but now really regret wasting my time and money. And, when I reached out to the seller about the defective item, they make you pay to ship it back. Avoid this product and company.
these stools are great for the price. however, the pieces were not cut in a standardized fashion, making them quite difficult to assemble. in fact, one of the legs all but completely shattered when i tried to pound it into the seat. i was able to reconstruct it with wood glue and things seem to be ok, but it is definitely not ideal .

Constructing chairs is always an issue

Was worried that they were not tall enough for the 9, 11,12,and thirteen year old , but was pleasantly surprised !
