impressive quality. We have not used it per se, but did flop down on it after the mattress and I would not complain if this was my bed! Love that it folds up.
Im not very good assembling things but I still managed, after about an hour. It was more than worth it. Ive had this bed for over a year, moved two times with it, the folding function works perfectly if you assemble it right. Its very sturdy, you cant tell its a simple platform when youre sleeping. Multiple people is no issue; Ive tried some rigorous activities on this bed with no signs of strain on the frame, and it stays in place during rigorous activities.
This is a great bed frame. I followed the directions and it went together easily. There are pre/drilled holes for dowel pegs and screws. The dowel holes do most of the work holding the frame together and lining everything up, and they were perfect. Every one of the of the screw holes were uniformly off center, but not enough that I had to take any corrective action. I just put the screws in a little off center and theyre totally fine.
This bed frame is solid solid wood and feels bomb proof. Ive slept on it a half dozen times, my kid has jumped around on it, its great. Its 10x more substantial than a metal bed frame.
I got this bed about a week ago and assembled it in a couple of hours/ take in consideration that I am a not very strong 21 year old female so I would say the assembly is pretty easy the only down side is a couple of the screws didnt go in all the way. It is very light and compact. The bed does creek easily but its not loud, just worries me about how sturdy it is.
I love this bed! Very sturdy and well made, easy to assemble, came quickly and is made in the USA out of tulip poplar. Just pay attention when attaching the angled legs, I put one in backwards before I noticed. And it folds up for storage! I would definitely buy this again.
I like that it is solid wood, made in USA and has no bad smells or off/gassing. The legs are angled, making under bed storage difficult. Once assembled, it is easy to fold and move. The slats are 4 apart so check your mattress recommendation or put something between mattress and bed (extra slats or boxspring). It is low to the ground so a low profile boxspring may be necessary. I think this bed would be better for younger guests but not my main guest room.
This foldable bed frame has completely served its purpose of being movable, foldable and providing a comfortable base (for a thin foam mattress) for our guests to sleep on. Its rounded edges helps protect us from painful bruises.
Wish it would fold outwards instead of inwards to make it easier to do daily, but we just stopped folding it multiple times a week. Its the perfect height from the ground and our guests find it extremely comfortable.
Our mattress is one of those portable floor mattresses which we intended to replace but didnt need to as the whole set up is extremely comfortable.
For an Iteam that was this cheap, and solid wood, I didnt expect it to be this easy to put together. Ive bought furniture before where the holes didnt line up, or the wood was warped. This was so well crafted, and the quality assurance was clearly done well because all of the holes lined up, and none of the wood was warped. Im really happy. Feels sturdy too Look forward to braking it in ;)
Im very happy with this bed! It arrived promptly and was well/packaged, and assembly was straightforward. The bed is a low/profile, minimalist style, but solid and sturdy / I dont anticipate having any trouble with it! Best of all, it folds in half, which means moving with it will be a breeze.
It took my boyfriend and I about 15 minutes to build this. The wood is solid and unstained, so I can stain it later, and assembly requires only a screwdriver. The only downside is that I need to put felt slippers on this so it doesnt scratch my floors, but thats a non/issue.
