It took my husband about an hour to assemble the bed he was very impressed with how easy it was to put together. He couldnt get over how well the bed was made and how easy the instructions were. The bed is beautiful, solid wood and very sturdy. Love it!
Okay, I have been using this platform for months now. And WOW its amazing. Im plus sized and my husband is pretty average and it handles us sleeping and uh.. much more. Seriously, its the best.
Ive purchased several frames for platform-style mattresses. This frame has proved the best by far. Love the look and the sturdiness. Trust me- spending a little more for wood rather than metal is worth it.
I agonized over which bed frame to get, and the one I finally decided on went out of stock as soon as I had the money! So, I got this one instead. Ive had it for two nights so far and Im really happy with it! Just for reference, Im 54 140 pounds. I have a memory foam mattress.
It was really easy to put together alone and none of the pieces were missing or damaged. They even include this little wrench which made it faster and easier than just a regular hex key would have.
It smelled good, like a lumber yard. Everything is wood except the middle support bar which is metal. All the pieces seem pretty sturdy, including the slats which I was worried about (I thought theyd be half an inch thick maximum but theyre closer to 3/4). I wouldnt go jumping on them because if the weight isnt evenly distributed they will probably start to bow) but I stood on it to change a lightbulb in my room and it held up fine.
It doesnt squeak.
My mattress does not slide around on it.
Its a nice height for getting in and out of bed comfortably (which, after sleeping on a mattress in the floor for a little while with bad knees, I appreciate

I decided to finally upgrade my husbands college metal bed frame that is 5+ years old, and what a great decision! I build this by myself in less lan an hour. Super easy to assemble, and so cute!
