save yourself and run. this is a horribly constructed bed. i cursed putting it together. and I am good at putting together furniture. they want you to secure like a bunch of wood slats with pressure or your hand while installing some cry thing over them. and they keep falling out while youre doing it. you should not be asked to secure with pressure and no screws, no biscuits nothing a row of slats while also needing to install something that precariously rests on them and is the only way to secure them. no one should ask you to do that. they should have connected the slats, did fewer slats or something! who designed this? no please run and save yourself the time. i wasted an afternoon which I could have done so much other stuff around home. at the last step it turned out the product was defective and I couldnt install one of the sideboards. insult to injury. i got to the finish line and then it was a bust! all that effort.
I got two of these for my twin toddlers. They look great and the price was perfect! I have had them for about a year now and they are still holding up great. I even recommended them to a neighbor! Very compact.
Not bad, but not great either. The key piece they included stripped the bolts about 1/2 way through putting it together. Thankfully I had a spare. Do not put too much pressure on the wood piece or tighten the bolts too much because I feel it has the potential to break easily with adult force. Putting the mattress support together with the railings was a bit of a pain / they dont sit snug enough so you have to line them up perfectly and that takes a few tries.
Bought this for my 22 month old. He LOVES it!! Pretty easy to assemble. Took about 45 minutes. Good value considering we will only use it for a year or less. Well made. It was just what I wanted.
