This was the easiest piece of furniture Ive ever assembled. It took about an hour, completely single/handed, and that includes the packaging being broken down and put in the recycling! There were so few moving pieces//everything comes 75% assembled, so the instructions have less than a dozen fully illustrated steps! With a full size mattress/box spring, the headboard would be nearly hidden, but the slat spacing is so narrow, you dont need a box spring at all to support your mattress. The color matches the online images perfectly, and all the upholstery elements look great. The frame pieces were packed inside the headboard in a very stable manner, well wrapped in plastic with foam blocks and cardboard protecting the fabric from any rough edges. Only one complaint: the clearance is too low for standard under/the/bed storage totes.
This bed is attractive, has clean modern lines and is very easy to put together even if youre solo.
It comes packaged inside the headboard. I initially was nervous when I pulled everything out of the headboard, because I thought that having a hollow headboard might make the bed less sturdy or that maybe it would be too weak to lean against. Not the case! You can easily lean comfortably against the headboard and the hollow back makes no difference at all, you just have to be careful not to punch through it with any of the slats or pieces.
Putting this together is very easy. All of the diagrams are understandable and clearly labeled. Also in a stroke of genius they put IN all the screws so you just have to loosen them, fit it together and retighten. No giant bag of screws to lose. That being said, when youre finishing up, make sure you dont tighten all the side bar screws before you put the last piece in, because it will need to be pushed down with force and if youre all tightened up you wont be able to fit it. I found that the best thing was to line it up, squeeze it down a little and then hit it with the heel of my hand until it squeezed into its spot. After that I tightened all the bolts on that side and finished up.
My only concern with these beds is whether the feet will hold up over time. They are heavy duty plastic, but Im not sure if bearing up several hundred combined pounds of human on the daily is really something that can be done by plastic feet over the long term. I wish there were more metal supports, I dont mind getting those floor protectors. That being said we have had our bed for a while and not been terribly gentle with it and its held up with zero issues.
I dont know what to say except this upholstered button tufted platform bed is awesome ! Yes if your a single woman the box is heavy, but it is easy to open the box take the legs n such out of the headboard and carry it upstairs. It is easy to put together and is a beautiful bed.I love the color like a medium dark grey and the fabric used is really nice.Put together properly it is very sturdy.I plunked my memory foam mattress on it and I was in heaven! I did have help in all this and for that I m grateful. Its a great bed and Im very happy with it.
We were needing a queen size bed for my daughters bed room. When I got the opportunity form to try to this bed, I eagerly accepted it.
The package came in and it is notable that the package is large and it is a two people mover. It is large enough that unless one person wants to drag it, you are going to need two.
When I opened the package I was impressed with the design. The headboard unzips on the back and all the pieces are inside it. This feature will be fantastic for future moves. the whole bed will fit nicely in one relatively small sized package. This is going to be a great feature for renters that move more than average.
We elected to open the package down stairs and carry the individual pieces up stairs to the final destination. I honestly could have gotten the whole thing up by my self. But I have learned, why do things the hard way.
This bed comes with some really nicely thought out assembly features.
Everything you need to assemble this bed is included in the packaging.
all but 3 screws are already in place (they will need to be loosened for proper fitment)
The included manual is rather basic, but I found the pictures to be more than adequate for proper and quick assembly
I was able to completely unpackaged and assemble this bed in under 40 minutes. (if I had a ratcheting Allen wrench it would have been much faster than that)
The slats were attached by webbing so you get the proper spacing very quickly and simply.
Rather than getting out your screw gun and screwing the slats to the bed frame, this bed comes with Velcro. Simply place the slats where you want them and they stick. Brilliant.
The fabric on this bed perfectly matches the fabric o the mattress I also purchased from a few months back. This is a coincidence, but it is a really pleasant one.
I love a platform bed, but after relatively easy essembley I cant shake the feeling that this is cheaply made and aint last long. Either way its going on a spare room and wont be used as often so we shall see!
This is my second bed, and I am once again confidently giving them 5/stars!! I really love the look and feel of this bed. The upholstery seems very well done and the fabric is beautiful. The wooden slats and metal frame below is very supportive, and doesnt squeak, rattle or shake. I am extremely impressed with the build quality, especially given the price.
Pros:
/Super/easy assembly
/Very sturdy
/Silent
Cons:
/You can see one of the metal support legs from the sides / I had assumed this was one of the plastic legs, however, there are only 4 plastic legs (2 on the head/board, and 2 on the foot/board).
Notes:
/This bed came in one insanely heavy box, and everything is packed into the headboards secret zipper/opened backside
/The instructions, wrench and three of the required bolts were hidden on the bottom of a cardboard box nested inside the headboard
/The seam on the left and right sides is actually where two boards meet
/The headboard is shorter than I had expected (the mattress shown in the product photos is probably only 8 thick)
Solid and heavy this frame was well designed so assembly was brilliantly designed so as to be simple (but requiring the insertion and tightening of 20 bolts//contributing to the solidity!)
So I move alot and wanted something simple, elegant, and inexpensive that would be easy to store.
1. Design / This looks great great. Great color and pattern.
2. Materials / The cloth is really very heavy and nice. Looks expensive.
3. Price / Theres NOTHING cheaper.
4. Assembly / This came with the one tool I needed and the bolts were all in place. They just needed to be loosened and tightened. It was an snap to put together.
5. Storage / It all stores INSIDE the headboard with a nice zipper. Each piece was light and small enough to carry by myself.
Im super happy with this luxury hotel style headboard and know I can move it easily, by myself when the time comes.

Attractive, easy to put together, and really completes the design of a room
