Bought this for my son because two of my kids share a very small room and he needed room for a desk. Its a great solution and it looks nice. He loves the desk and the shelves. I do wish it were sturdier. We built according to directions and its fine for him for now. Hes 7 and on the smaller side for his age. I do think he will outgrow it quickly because it doesnt seem sturdy enough for an older child, teen, or adult. According to the weight capacity it should be safe for an adult but it shakes a lot and wobbles easily. Not to the point that I feel unsafe with him sleeping in it, but even as a petite adult I dont think Id feel safe sleeping in it. Very easy to assemble!
It is obviously USED. SCRATCHES AND OPENED SCREW PACKETS. NOT HAPPY.
Wood slats and a seperate lader would be a huge improvement. The ladder will be replaced with another. I dont trust the narrow rungs on a vertical climb. Assembly directions are not the best. The Assembly is much longer than expected. I will anchor the bed to a wall just for peace of mind. It is Full size. The desk shelving is just OK. It is a part of the structure. I would rather not have it. This could have been designed better. You are stuck with two ladder choices. One us against the wall and the other much to close to a window. They cannot be relocated to the other corners. Not so stable.
This was easy to set up. My son and I did it together. Was a little annoyed with missing screws so I had to go to the hardware store. But all is all definitely a must for a small space. very stable.
Bought this bed and it was delivered the next day. My 9 year old and I put it together with no issues. She loved watching her bed come together!

We wanted to upgrade our teenagers bed to a full (from a twin) and choose this bed due to the fact that its a fairly small bedroom and this would allow for there to be some extra room on the floor for an oversized bean bag. It took the two of us several hours to put the bed together. There were a few holes that didnt quite line up and we had a very hard time putting in the bars that hold up the mattress. My partner ended up having to make some minor adjustments to the in order to get the last few bars in. I also didnt realize how big/tall it actually was! We ended up having to take down the ceiling fan in the bedroom so she could climb up the ladder without hitting the fan (or hitting it while she was sleeping). The bed itself isnt squeaky but does wobble when shes climbing up or moving around. It doesnt look/feel unsafe however. If we had to do it all over again, I dont know if I would pick still pick this model or not but it was priced well and fit our needs. Either way, she loves her new bed and I guess that is all that really matters! Works well.
