This was a product I thought would work well. It looks great and what I needed but unfortunately it didnt turn out as great as I thought. When it arrived I took it out of the box, carefully as to not scratch the paint. I set all piece on the carpet and began the construction. For one person I would not recommend because youll have to flit the side up after constructing the pieces. After getting a hand with the lifted side I continued to assemble. It went fairly well for myself. I stated it about 1pm after lunch and finished it around 10pm: long breaks included. The only delay was knowing what parts go to the joining pieces. Some of the labor stickers with the letters were rubbed off the wood. So I had to take it apart when I learned it wasnt the right piece. Thats neither here not there. What made me return it was the fractured wood pieces that split when I screwed in the bolts to fasten them together. It could have been a bad piece but it was part of the safety railing to prevent the child from falling over. That was a concern for me. I didnt want my niece to become injured from that. The entire loft bed seemed secure for a child but I know sometimes shes want to rest with her mom in the bed with her. That didnt seem as secure for both of them. The image to me seemed as if it could hand 180 of wight combine with my niece and sister in law. The broken split wood railing changed my mind. I ended up getting something closer to the ground for both of them. In the end Im sad that it didnt turn out as I wanted but the bed was ok in all. Maybe with a stronger wood it could work.
I purchased this for my seven year old son and he absolutely loves it. It is very sturdy for those rough little loves, and the color is great. My son loves it very sturdy and stylish

I love this bed!! The under bed height is higher than most. But the overall height is great for a junior child/my son is 7 1/2 years, and he loves it. The bed is gray, I bought the baskets, but the shelves below provide a great amount of storage. Im very pleased to have went with this one. It took less than 2 hours to put together. Easy instructions. I love it.
Very nice product. Looks great, Pretty sturdy. It took more time to get it than expected but we are in the middle of a quarantine . I would purchase them again in a minute. Thank you Modern, comfortable and great value

The color of the wood is exactly what I thought it was going to be.
We have had it up and being used for a while my daughter absolutely loves her big girl bed. The ladder is able to hold her and she is able to use it all. She loves hanging out underneath and I have no worries. I would not recommend a thick mattress just so the kiddos dont fall over. I am 5ft even and the bed comes up to about my shoulders. It is beautiful and functional.

This was a fantastic bed, but the bottom shelf was cracked upon delivery! Other than that, we love it! It looks nice
well made, but the could be generous on mattress supporting bars
very well made, but the space between the mattress supporting bars is way too wide. wish there are more bars I Would definitely buy again

Too many allen wrench pieces
I read reviews but this is extremely hard to put together. My fingers are raw from the allen wrench.
