The pups find this futon perfectly comfortable. Its a little on the firm side, but by no means uncomfortable to me. Assembly was about 30 minutes and the instructions were easy to follow. If it looks like pieces are missing - theyre in a zipper pouch on the underside of the seat cushions. That was about 10 minutes worth of assembly time! As a couch, its perfectly sturdy and great for small spaces. As a futon, theres no support on the back side, so youll need to put something under it, or if your guest shifts to that side, it will tip over. Using it as a bed wasnt necessarily a plan, so for my purposes, it was a great buy.
My expectations for a futon under $400 were not high. This is not a $1500 sectional. Comfort-wise, the cushions and backing are firm, but the springs under the cushion give it a little more of a couch-like bounce than a traditional futon mattress. Its a couch for sitting and reading, not cuddling in front of a movie. The material is very soft. I did get some dirt stains on it carrying it up 3 floors, which came out easily with oxyclean spray and a wet rag. The color of the light green is definitely more of a mint. All in all I love the style I get for the price and it makes a great daytime reading spot in my kids room.
Ease of assembly and comfort are most important to me. Met my expectations. Honestly this is not a comfortable couch but it is gorgeous to look at. And its something to sit on at a great price. Id recommend an ottoman or something to rest your feet on to give it a little extra sense of comfort. I havent tried it as a futon yet. The color is beautiful. Just as pictured. It was a little awkward to put together however with more than one person that wont be a problem. All of the pieces are zipped up in a pocket under the seat. My husband loves the couch for his TV room.

Was a very pleasant experience and putting together wasnt too terribly difficult. It did take a few hours but was definitely not super difficult. This is a sofa I would highly recommend. I use mine in my room as a sofa and as my bed to which I have no complaints. I look forward to many years of enjoyment from this perfect sofa futon.
I love this couch/futon so much! Definitely took 2 people to assemble, but it was simple enough. My main issue is one of the provided screws did not fit... luckily that arm is next to the wall, but Im trying to find a replacement to make sure its perfectly assembled.
exactly as described and more Cute and sturdy chair. It was extremely easy to assemble, just had to screw in the legs and pop on the top! Love the color and the softness of the velvet. It is firm, but I prefer a firmer chair.
I placed the couch in my kids playroom, so I dont use it often.... Unfortunately, when I do its so uncomfortable! My kids dont seem to mind, but it would be thrown in the trash if I had to use it daily.
I LOOOOOOOVE this couch! Its so aesthetically pleasing to the eyes! Comfort is mediocre. I definitely wouldnt use this as my every day couch for lounging in front of the tv. I have fallen asleep on it a few times and woke myself up tossing and turning looking for that right spot of comfort....that I never found. Its serves its purpose well as a piece of side furniture that wont get used as often. The velvet green is incredibly beautiful!
I like the chairs fine, but was expecting a very green color and instead they are very blue- almost a seafoam/aquamarine color. It worked out fine for me, but could be a problem for other people.

Very Different Color
