Really good product that Im sure to get a lot of use out of. Assembly was easy, but slightly awkward to hold the legs into place while getting the screws and washers aligned and fastened in.
It has nice cushioning, good lower back support, some mid to upper back support, and is a nice distance from the ground for taller people. The only thing about comfort, is I wouldnt call it all-day comfort. If youre working from home, it might start to feel a bit rigid after an hour or so. Thats what happened to me. In fact my cushioned dining room chair is actually better in this regard. So if youre looking for shorter duration use, this chair is for you. It is plenty comfortable for that. And the lighter you are, the better it probably is)
The legs are sturdy, and the fact they dont have wheels is a plus because you can place the chair onto a hard-wood or linoleum surface without need to buy a mat. They even come with soft fabric pads attached so they dont scratch your floor. Now again, if youre trying to repurpose as an all-day office chair, no wheels might be an issue. I love how the chair spins 360 degrees effortlessly. This is a really nice feature that makes it easier to get into an out of. I dont have to pull up the chair nearly as much as a regular chair.
Lastly, and one of the chief reasons I bought it, is the mid-century modern aesthetic. The distressed brown leather color on the outside goes along great with the more polished gray color on the inside. The brown also goes great with my adjacent brown leather couches, and the overall look compliments a natural-edge wood desk for which it pairs.
Overall, Im excited to see this piece alongside a moderately used desk, and will get lots of use out of it going forward (albeit probably not full day work sessions).
I sat down in the chair and thought wow, its actually comfortable and a great fit for me. Im a guy that weighs a good bit less than 200 pounds and after 2 weeks the fabric shows signs of wear. I expected a month or so before that, so...well see about that. I would recommend it. Even though my first one got lost in the mail.
So this chair came and was super easy to assemble and pretty comfortable. It sort of forced me to have better posture at first, was nice to work from home in. The swivel is smooth--almost too smooth as theres so little resistance and no locking mechanism so youll rotate if any pressure is applied. The arms are too low to really use as armrests unless you slouch in the seat, but since I was working at a desk I didnt really need them for anything other than I like feeling cradled, I guess.
But the cushion in the seat has all but disappeared. It offers no real support and without the cushion I just sort of slide forward. Which goes hand in hand with the new issue--since you tend to slide forward in the seat now the chair itself kind of has started to tip down. When I get up sometimes theres a loud cracking sound and I have to put effort into sitting up to keep the chair from drifting down and trying to dump me out of the seat.
Its a shame because its a nice looking chair. I just wish it was longer lasting.
Two things I dont like.
First, too narrow in the seat, wide hips need not purchase. Second, description said faux leather, I was thinking pleather but it suede. Didnt want any type of cloth like material, hard to clean.
Things I like.
It does swivel nicely, color looks good, they look good as dinning chairs, and besides being too narror in the hips (which means I need to work on) they are comfortable.
So overall they are ok but not what I really was looking for but will do for now, plan on getting something different though.
Below is my first review. I want to add the company did contact me and apologized for my dissatisfaction. They also offered to send a prepaid return label. I appreciate their effort in trying to make this right so I would not hesitate to do business with them again.
This chair is ok but definitely not worth almost $200. It has a bad odor that has not resolved after 2 weeks. I have tried everything to get the odor out. I was hesitant to order since I knew if I didnt like it I would be responsible for return shipping. That is the only reason I am keeping it. Comfort is average. I think there are better chairs out there.
This is a great chair for my at home office (which happens to be the basement). I work 8-10 hours each day and Im not sore at the end of the day. Looks great too and was super easy to put together.. I would recommend to anyone. I hope this helps.
I purchased this chair for my teenager to use at their desk, which they use for homework and their art tablet setup. I wanted something that looked nicer than your generic rolling desk chair but something they could sit back in and get comfy and this really fit the bill. Its not a huge chair but perfect for young adults - I sat in it as a plus sized adult and it was comfortable enough; I probably wouldnt choose it for myself as a desk chair as I like more lumbar support (and my butt is bigger) but for reading or occasional use? Sure!
I got the gray fabric in the interest of hiding stains and its a nice color, feels substantial and isnt too slippery or scratchy. I read some reviews where people were unhappy with the two zippers running up the sides in the back, but I dont think theyre terrible at all, they are aligned with the seams and the cover looks super easy to remove for washing and then get back on the chair so Im happy theyre there.
The chair itself is the perfect height for a student desk and my teenager sits in the completely ergonomic position of propping ones feet on ones desk while holding their drawing tablet on their legs. You know, sort of like yoga only sitting. Its even more important that the chair doesnt roll in this instance so I like having the legs instead.
Overall its a nice little chair especially for the price - it looks modern and for a kid its like having their own fancy furniture. Id even get these chairs if I had a breakfast nook or needed one for a small space on a porch or in a living room.
We bought this as a desk chair to put at the desk in our living room. It looks great- very stylish- and is very comfortable. The seat itself isnt the widest, so if you get claustrophobic it might not be perfect but to me it feels comfortable. Very sturdy, very easy to put together.

Cute and great for a while, but starts to wear out very quickly (6 months later review)
