My 12 year old daughter is very happy with this loft bed! It looks great in her room and gives her a lot more space to hang out.
As other reviews stated, DO buy the washers... they made the bed very sturdy!

There was a problem but they fixed it fast I am really happy with this. We got it for our 15 year old daughter. We almost got the loft bed but they stopped selling the white one. Because this is a little lower than the one its more sturdy. My daughter even has a loveseat under it and its so cute. Its her little sanctuary.
Found this bed on Wayfair, but it was out of stock in white. Luckily had exact same bed in white and a few bucks cheaper! This was a purchase for my 8 year old. We purchased a 6 mattress from and it fit perfectly. The bed took me and my husband about 2-3 hours to assemble. I recommend reading ahead on the directions otherwise you may find yourself having to unscrew and loosen stuff to get additional pieces in place. Pay close attention to pictures and have a large space to lay everything out before hand.
My daughter loves it. It is a little wobbly for my liking, but she doesnt notice. I get up in the bed with her at night to tuck her in. Feels relatively safe.
