So in love with this piece We had been looking at cost effective king beds for two years. Although there are many
options, our biggest concern was sturdiness, as many had marginal weight limits
that didnt seem to allow two normal size people plus a king mattress.
This product is very sturdy, well designed, elegant and assembled exactly like the instructions.
All the pre drilled holes lined up and are metal-to-metal connections
vs wood screws into wood. The only recommendation is to purchase your own two long handled
allen wrenches for less than $10, sizes M5 and M6, for ease of tightening the bolts.
We did not use an electric drill to avoid any possibility of the screws.
This bed was worth the wait.
Overall we are happy! Went together fairly well. Instructions were simple though I do with a bit larger. I also have stoped using manufacturing supplied Allen wrenches for my own ratchet version. Saves a lot of work and time

The down side is the Support Wooden Bunkie that do come with bed requires nail/screw to bed frame which is a solid wood without any holes. I was afraid Ill crack the wood. Should come with pre-holes. Also the bunker wood pieces have too much open space in between, not so flat support for a foam mattress. I useed mdf board from home deport for a sturdy support.
You wont regret this purchase Great value for a very stylish bed. I assembled it by myself in about 2 hours. There was one visible nick in the veneer. Otherwise, all parts were in good condition.

Very sturdy, was able to put it together alone without much trouble using my own tools but shudder to think of doing it with the ones provided. Its mostly solid wood construction with some composite materials in the headboard. The straps on the back of the headboard to carry it were comical they were so poor attached (one fell off in the box untouched) but not an issue with the rest of the bed. It would be an absolute bear to take apart and put back together due to the many screws you have to drill directly through the slats and into the frame. In the end though it looks great, doesnt make noise when I move, and should last a long time.
