My son is autistic and has scoliosis. Every year we buy a new chair for him and every time we had to fight him to use it.He always finds something bad in each of them. When we bought this chair he started to complain right away but after an hour he said he likes it a lot. You can tilt back or seat straight and it is comfortable to seat for him-he weights around 200 lb. The assembly was very quick and they even give extra bolts. My only complain is that it is higher compare to other chairs even in the lowest position.
Assembles very easily. Really great modern look. The recline feature is almost unusable unless you are a heavier person but spring may loosen over time. Swivel works good and is very smooth. Padding is firmer than expected but still comfortable. Overall happy I purchased and would recommend.
Its a comfortable chair, but it remains to be seen if the padding and leatherette hold up. Since Im only 5 9 (175 cm) and 160 lbs (72 kg) the size is good for me, but I wouldnt recommend it for very large or tall people. The assembly experience was average. I have seen better and worse. A ratchet with the proper hex key is highly recommended over trying to build it with the provided manual hex wrench. If you are of average size and weight like me or smaller, the lightweight construction is actually a good thing.
A pain to assemble. Make sure you have a rubber mallet to assist getting the wheels set into place and maybe some gloves as the tiny wrench included will hurt your hands when tightening the screws. The chair back was a little lower than expected, but thats on me for not paying attention to the measurements. Other than that, it looks pretty good and will do the job.
The term basic hardly describes this well made office chair. The fit and finish are exceptional. Comes broken down in pieces so assembly is required. The only tool you need is a knife to open the package. There is a definite order of assembly so follow the instructions and it will be a breeze. First one took about 20 minutes but I liked the chair so much I ordered another. The second went together in ten minutes. Not only were all the pieces counted and labeled, they even provide extra bolts. Thank you for offering a nice product at an exceptional price point.
Follow-up
Chair was used daily for 4 1/2 years until fabric started breaking down on seat and arm pads. Exceptional value and I purchased two more. They arrived a day early in perfect condition with all parts accounted for. Assembled 2 chairs in 30 minutes. The brown is almost black in color and looks great.
