The chairs are actually really nice looking and easy to put together. I only rated a 3 because they are not sturdy at all at barely hold an adults weight. I am only 170 lbs and as soon as I sat in it all legs flexed and chair sounded like the legs were going to break off. Debating if we are going to keep it
I ordered these chairs to use in my foyer as extra seating. They look great there but they are also lightweight, easy to move around, and can work as extra seating elsewhere. I found that the color represented on the website was very accurate as I ordered these to match the beige already in my house. Assembly was simple and easy, only required attaching the legs and screwing and a little leveling pieces into the legs from there. This is a great feature because if your chair is placed on an uneven floor, you can simply adjust these levelers and they provide some protection for hardwood floors. The bottom cushion is removable, but it has velcro that holds it in place so you dont have the cushion slipping or moving about when in use or otherwise. The cushion is also removable for cleaning if necessary. I have spent quite a bit more money, more than double actually, on comparable chairs for another area of my house so I would definitely say they are a good value. They are multi functional, can be used literally for any purpose including but not limited to dining, living room, extra seating, bedroom sitting area or even a home office. They are definitely more comfortable than many chairs used for these purposes and an available at a great price. Decent for the price
Weve done some updating to our home and I wanted some comfortable and sturdy mid century modern chairs. I didnt care for the plastic ones that Id already purchased. They felt very institutional. I wanted something modern and sexy like it was from the set of Mad Men but also within my budget.
I chose these and Im in love. The gray fabric is a perfect shade of not too light to show small stains, not too dark to show every crumb. And in the event they need washed, the seat cover is removable. Which is a great selling point since Ill now have the option of replacing the foam if Im a few years its no longer as comfy.
Thats a huge bonus. So many chairs dont give you the option to upkeep them and replace the cushion and then theyre trash. Im hoping to have these around the table for a few years. After that Im sure theyll be used in another capacity like at the desk or in the bedroom corner.
I expected them to look great; was impressed by the fabric and comfort; but was surprisingly how easy they were to assemble. If youve ever had the joy of assembling a piece of ready/to/assemble mid century modern furniture with the tapered legs on an angle, well then you will definitely appreciate the engineering of this chair. For starters the leg is fixed into the bracket/I mean like welded or something. Not a single screw that rips through the wood after it moved a few times. Then, to make it even better, there are arrows on the base of the chair and letters that all correspond with the correct leg and indicating which direction to face it. Aming! Ive suffered through a few pieces of RTA furniture leg assemblies. None of them were this simple, full proof, or sturdy.
Whether its dining chairs, occasional chairs, or office chairs, I dont think youll be disappointed with the quality or frustrated by the assemble. Comfortable and high quality!
I bought these chairs for my kitchen table. They look even better than in the picture. Theyre upholstered very well with nice material. Theyre attractive, sturdy and comfortable. I sometimes use one by my computer desk so I may wind up ordering again. They were very easy to assemble. So far meets my expectations
