    Sturdy and easy to assemble

Easy to assemble and seems sturdy enough! Trundle is very easy to pull out. Love the rustic walnut finish! Nice well made.

    Good quality wood!

The wood on this daybed is good quality, its solid wood not a conglomerate. The daybed was fairly easy to assemble except the cam locks were difficult to get in with one person. It looks good once fully assembled, seems sturdy and its a very convenient use of space. Nice product.

Broken slat, will need low profile box spring

Unfortunately I recommend that you buy some type of box spring to go with the top day bed part. One of my kids sat on it in a slump and already, after only a few uses, we have a slat broken. Im very disappointed as I really was loving this bed! However was not made to hold just a futon too and any body weight as hoped.Struggle.

    Nice look and quality

If you order this daybed, please be aware that it ships in two boxesone for the main daybed and one for the trundle underneath. The shipping date kept getting pushed back and then one box came and the other a week later. That was frustrating. But as far at the quality and look, its very nice. Remember to have patience when putting it together, and youll be happy with the outcome! Pretty sturdy. Good size.

    Great quality. Easy assembly.

Beautiful! So easy to put together with 2 people. Sturdy. No scratches or weird boards. I am very happy with this trundle bed. My son loves it!!

    Seems durable

The bed frame was a bit tedious to put together, mostly because some of the holes were not spaced correctly, but it seems to be a sturdy piece of furniture. I recommend using a drill for the woodscrews. And two people make it quite a bit easier, (perhaps its even necessary). The packaging wasnt great. There wasnt enough protective padding for the heaviest wood sections. One section suffered considerable pressure damage, but hopefully it wont end up breaking or looking rough and tattered. I neglected to keep the paperwork, just wanting to clean up the mess before the recycling/garbage pickup the following morning. Otherwise I would have contacted the manufacturer. Anyhow, its covered by the quilt. My first guest will be visiting soon. Ill update if we experience any problems with the bed. Very well made.

    Broken after 3 weeks

Barely 3 weeks after purchase, the front horizontal piece broke. To the manufacturers credit, replacement pieces were shipped out pretty quickly. If it maintains its value and sturdiness over the next year is to be determined. My initial gut reaction is if it broke this easily, it might not last the year, will update review in a couple of months. UPDATE: Its held up to daily use for the last year, faulty component must have been a one off. Changing my rating from 2 to 4. Overall good.
