    Beautiful but broken bed

The bed is beautiful, my daughter absolutely loved the bed until the center support beam caved in on her (12 yr. old that weighs 100lbs.) while she was making the bed (not jumping). She pressed her knee into the center of the bed and bed collapsed on her. The beam bent down to the floor (no trundle bed yet), split the wood slats in half and broke the side panel as well. We have only had it for 6 months. We were super impressed when the co. sent us replacement parts (beam, slats and braces) free and pretty fast. Once we tried putting the new parts on we realized the there was more damage than we thought; the side panel was broken too once we pulled back the upholstery. We are currently waiting to see if we can get a new panel. Its unavailable at this time. much smaller than pictured.

Must assemble with no error w/ slats

Gave 4 stars due to cheap slats. If you misplace one it breaks as soon as you pull it out. Well worth the purchase.

    Looks nice

The trundle is nice looking but I am disappointed that they put the removable federal tags on the back outside of the couch. When I tried to take them off only a portion of the tags came off. I was afraid of ripping the material so I left the rest. So on the back of my couch are pieces of the do not remove, except by consumer tags. It looks pretty bad. Clearly do not use a 10 mattress for either bed. 8 perhaps on top, but no more than a 6 on the bottom. Beautiful!!

    Use at most 8 mattress!

Sturdy looks good but needs at most an 8 mattress. Mine is too high. I will keep not that its all assembled. Took 2 people 2 hours. Basically good directions, dumb assemblers More sturdy than expected.

    Bigger than you expect!

I wanted a day bed for my VR gaming room. I figured it would double as a couch and a bed for my grandkids when they visit. Its a slightly not navy dark blue. I found a velour blanket at the store the same color, and a twin bedspread that was navy and white. Assembly wasnt difficult, but it was definitely tedious. Make sure you have most of the room to spread the parts out in. I was worried that having just snap in slats wouldnt be strong enough to use as a couch for several adults to sit on, but it seems fine. With a standard size twin mattress, its about mid/thigh height in the front. There is no guide for the trundel to slide in and out, its just a frame, slats and wheels with the front piece on it. We might eventually replace it with a thin board and make it a storage compartment. All in all, it was worth the price, the color isnt as weird as it seems at first, but its taller than youd expect. Perfect and Sturdy.

    Generally impressed!

I didnt want to spend 1600 on the RH version so I went with this! Overall sturdy and really nice! 8inch mattress on top is really the max and 5 inch for trundle. Perfect.

    Good purchase

We bought this for my toddler as she was growing out of her crib. Its beautiful once it is finished but it was a pain to put together. Working well.

    Nice bed, easy to assemble

We bought this as our childs first full size bed and so far are pleased with it. Assembly was simple, the only issue I had was a single missing support piece which I managed to do without. We did buy a thick matress for it, so it comes ip almost even to the armrests which isnt ideal. So only recommendation here is that while you may not want to skimp on a quality mattress, maybe try to get one that isnt very thick for use on this bed. Exactly as Described.
