This is a very reliable piece of furniture as well as attractive in a room. It is somewhat easy to assemble. We have a neighbor who is a builder which speeded up the process and took approx. 30 minutes to set up. If you are good with directions and building then you will have no problem, if not. well find a neighbor who is a builder
It took me longer than I thought to put together. I ended using my own tools. It went faster. I think with a double or bigger it takes two people. I am very happy with the finish product. I love my new bed.
It does the job it was intended for. The Wooden bar slates do not stay in place. There were no extra bolts to secure those. i had to purchase those separately at a hardware store.
no need for a box spring Honestly it can be put together one person just make sure you have a wrench to hold the bolts while you use the Allen wrench , took me about a hr in a half but took breaks in between. Love ittttt
The bed was semi easy to assemble. I however was given the wrong nuts for the screws so I had to go get some other ones that would fit. I was given lock nuts, which locked after barely being on the screws, so the frame was rickety and unsafe. I just went to Lowes and got the correct ones, I think maybe this was an accidental error so I told the company and they were helpful. I hope this review helps if anyone else has this problem. Once I got the new nuts it was pretty easy to put the frame together, took maybe 20 more mins. Total time was between 1/1.5 hours setup and unpackaging everything.
I purchased this bed frame in the process of remodeling/downsizing walkout basement Grandfather apartment (for myself). I liked the way it looked on line and was prepared to reinforce reengineer joints, etc. expecting it to be a bit wobbly. I was wrong . worked great. Has been six months and is sound as day one. The only change I made was to turn the head seat board upside down for a better look. I searched and found six plastic storage bins that fit underneath just fine. The single Allen wrench provided would have worked, but I turned to my drill (set on very low setting) with Allen wrench bit. Assembly went a whole lot faster . just be careful not to over torque and finish the assembly screw/in/action by hand.
Am very pleased with this purchase.
This frame was easy to put together and even came with additional parts in case you lost something while building. My only complaint is that there were a few parts that had missing Wooden at the joints. Not enough to make it structurally unsound. Just enough to be noticeable in the design. But its a very sturdy frame and simple to put together. Holds up nicely.

It wasnt too hard for my daughter and me to put together but once it was finished it was pretty sturdy and cute.
