Super love this bed! A bit salty the caramel color was out of stock for 3 months but the white is actually lovely so Im not super salty.
Things to note: DO NOT OPEN ALL BOXES AT ONCE. The instructions are (mostly) super easy to follow. Each box is basically one quadrant of the bed. After you build the first one you get super fast at it (unless you lock yourself outside for two hours like we did). Theres one area I think is a little confusing and thats the little fold out shelf up near the head of the bed. They include it in boxes that dont use it. I wish theyd shift all the drawers and shelf doors to the final box because we spent 10 minutes trying to figure out what we had missed. This is the *only* somewhat vague area so not a big deal. Oh and one other area was frustrating and we ended up having to slightly change things. I honestly think it was just 130am and we were too fried to be building so thats likely on us not the product.
Build with a lot of room and get help. I build things all on my own normally but this would have been super irritating without four hands.
It is super sturdy. I have no idea how you could put this together properly and think it wasnt sturdy. Its obscenely well constructed especially compared to other platform beds. Everything is freaking bolted and screwed in place. All solid wood. I was really pleased seeing how supportive the platform was. The boxes come perfectly packed. We got it during winter so FedEx had gotten mud and snow on one box. Everything inside was dry and perfectly wrapped.
It took us about 5 hours not counting breaks and getting locked outside. It would have been quicker but it was end of the day and I wanted it perfect.
First night sleep not a wiggle or weird noise from the frame. Will update if anything changes. Nice size.
The bed is really cool looking and its functional. The drawers glide easy but all are sorta small. They work for things like socks and underwear but not so much for shirts and pants. I have a memory foam mattress and its incredibly comfortable on the bed, super sturdy. Its cool and good overall but it is not that easy to set up. Even if youre handy, itll take a few hours. Overpriced a bit.
Something i was looking for in my whole life. Searched all furniture shops for a good looking island bed but couldnt find it. Atlast i took the chance to buy it online and this turned out to be the one i was looking for. Looks really good. Strong but its alittle bit tricky to assemble but you can make it in 5/6 hours Go for it!
It would be easy to play more and get less than this bed offers. This bed is very sturdy and made of good quality lumber. The assembly is pretty straightforward, it assembled in stages then the larger parts connect. I was missing 3 of the wooden pegs used to align everything. I would recommend seeing a day aside to get the platform together, its not the fastest process. One nice feature of assembly is the adjustability of the drawer casters. Enough strength.
This frame is beautiful. Unfortunately it took the better part of 3 days to build it. About a quarter of the parts were not labeled or labeled incorrectly. Updated review
This thing is super sturdy, comes with a bunch of convenient drawers and just looks nice. just make sure you get some power tools, they definitely help Very nice
The bed frame came in 4 boxes. Directions are easy. If you try to assemble make sure you give yourself enough time. Took me about 5 hours to assemble myself. Great for small spaces.

Sturdy, good looking

The instructions did not match the enclosed parts. I had to go buy a drill to finish the missing holes. Overpriced.

Do it one box at a time
Took my husband and I about 5 hours to put together. I am in love with this bed. Easy to fix.
