Chair was extremely easy to put together. I was able to do it by myself in about 5 minutes. No tools required. Now that Ive had the chair for awhile I can give decent review. This chair is best for lounging. I recommend having an ottoman so that you can put your feet up and lean back. Perfect for watching tv or reading. The is soft and definitely not velvet. Its more like a cotton a polyester blend similar to tablecloths. Dont know how it will hold up over time but for now its perfect for my tiny apartment. Great for small spaces.
The headline says it all, this is a very comfortable and nice looking chair. It was very easy to put together and arrived quickly. I would recommend. Love these.
