Very sturdy and easy to assemble. Even had my eleven yr old daughter put the second one together. The only drawback is one of the benches is not 100 level and occasionally tips if kids wiggle too much. Like!
We like the bench but it was missing a hole upon arrival so we had to drill one in ourselves. No big deal but because of this, one of the legs is a little short causing it to wobble some. No worries though because it is still nice. We know that we could have sent it back but we did not want the hassle. The bench works well. We have it pushed against a wall. much smaller than pictured.
on arrival sanded the top down stained it dark and painted the legs black to match the butcher block table I refinished. Kids love it. Wish the legs were a little wider, as the center of gravity is a bit high and it will go down hard. Thankfully, no little toes injured so far. Really complements our table nicely and we get lots of compliments on it. It was less expensive to get the finished unit and redo it than it was to get an unfinished version of the same bench both here and elsewhere. It works.
I was so excited to get this piece. I have been looking for a bench that wasnt too expensive. But I dont know if thru the delivery services this happened but the wood had a crack through it. I figured with 3 kids it would happen sooner or later anyway. I would like to purchase another one but will be shopping around first . More sturdy than expected.

The bench is of a good quality and sturdy, and the one tipping issue was eaily fix and partly operator error. I would recomend this bench to anyone looking for one. Works well.
For the price its good // but I will have to replace it. My kids keep tipping it over. Needs more weight on it or to be wider to stop them from slipping. Its fine for light use or looks // not a good bench at family breakfast table for kids. (Which is what I bought it for). Bench looks good but cant stay!
This is a very nice/looking bench, easy to assemble and well/constructed (all parts were in the box and all the parts fit!). It was a bit pricey, given that it has no storage capacity, but I suppose one is paying for the quality of construction. It isnt very versatile in terms of decor either, but I have it in a niche with yellow walls and white trim and it works beautifully there. Perfect.
Love the bench. Put another coat of poly on it as the top coating was very fragile/thin. Matches another table I bought which made me happy! Easy set up.

Better then the Chairs
The chairs that come with the set are weak and flimsy. Ive already had to throw one out. This bench is much sturdier. Good Product.
