It was what I needed and a good deal I am very pleasantly surprised by this purchase. I have never seen a product packaged so well. The foam blocks were even in bags- no mess! Assembly was simply. I did it alone in about 45 minutes. I am also amazed at how sturdy this bed is. Overall, great product.
Quality workmanship! I spent considerable time researching beds before I found this one. I wanted a platform but most of the ones I saw were very low to the ground and Ive had a bed like those and I just was not comfortable crawling in and out of bed every day. I liked that this bed is real wood and very sturdy. Not to mention beautiful. I prefer the Mid Century style which this is and the rich color of the wood - Caramel is very up-to-the- minute shade. I got a 14foam mattress to go with the bed and if I could change anything I would get a 12 or even a 10so the headboard would show more. I highly recommend this bed. I had someone assemble it, however he said it was one of the easiest piece of furniture to do. The only problems is that my little dog cannot get up by himself.
