After checking every big box store in Honolulu, realized that truly flush mount (aka low profile) ceiling fans are hard to find/and those in stock have light kits which protrude downward. A cover for the area of light kit attachment was not to be found, despite the promises of in/store sales personnel
Ordered this from This one works perfectly in an exterior room enclosed on three sides. Its well built, was easy to install. Would definitely buy it again.
The looked great. We had to have an electrician come to put it up. One hundred and ninety dollars later, the is up and the motor didnt workat all. I wont order again because I cant afford to spend the money for an electrician for another faulty product. I use all the time and will continue to do so but wont be ordering this from them.
Weve put in probably 30 of these over the years and they work great. Our house had 4 ft of saltwater in it during Hurricane Dennis (2005) and the fans got blasted with salt spray and debris. I washed them off with a hose and let them dry for a few weeks before powering up. All are still working today.
