It is not as stable ad the other style with the desk on the end. Would be better with another ladder on the side in addition to the end, to help stabilize the corner. Well made. It was just what I wanted.
Took 3 of us 3 hours to put together which was fine. The desk was the last piece to put on and saw that it was BLACK! So if youre expecting all white youre out of luck. I tried asking customer service and he said for ups to pickup and return the whole thing! It would literally take me days to take apart and package. Its also 120 lbs. anyway, Im a little irritated hence the 3 star. Otherwise I would give it 4 bc my daughter loves it. Ladder hurts her feet so will have to remedy that and Bed wiggles a bit so may have to secure to wall. Not best.
I received the item as promised. Though I read that you need two people to put the bed up, I did it alone because I have no one to help me. It took me 4 hours to do alone. All of the parts were present and all pieces fit as indicated in the instructions which were very clear. The bed does squeak and move a little when you move around in it. I had to get rubber padding for the ladder steps. Overall, I am pleased with the product. Well built!!
Great height for younger children. Ample room under bed for storage/play. Set up took about 2 hr. for me by myself. The ladder rungs does make a clanking noise when ascending and descending the bed. Other than that the bed is fairly steady. My 4 year old really likes the bed. Value.
My only problem with this bed is that it only goes together one way and theres no way to rearrange the pieces to get the ladder facing the other side. In my situation that has the ladder backed against the wall and turning the bed around puts the bottom cross bar in the front. A few extra holes added to the posts to either be able to put the cross bar in the rear or to attach the ladder on the other side would make the design much more versatile and really wouldnt detract from the look. You need alot of patience to build this!

I purchased as a gift for my 13 year old grandson who is 58 and is about 180 lbs. He seems to sleep comfortably in it. Very nice product!

This bed is not as sturdy as I would have hoped: entire structure is very shaky when using the ladder, unless you are under 40lbs. Basic.
Worth your money
Upon arriving there were pieces of the headboard as to where the product was welded together but came apart. Too many parts. Assembly is a pain.
