We purchased this barre almost a year ago so my daughter could dance at home. It has been a great barre- good price, nice color (purple) and range of heights, easy to store by rotating legs. We even took it to a class at someones house but removing the legs and putting it in the back of the SUV. However, after about 6 months, the screws that tighten and loosen the legs have stopped working. When we lift the barre to move it the legs just fall off. Its possible the screws became stripped by my daughter turning the legs without loosening them first, but Im not sure. She swapped the screws for the ones that hold the middle barre on and now those are also not working. Just today we noticed the barre is wobbly and no longer secure. Im hoping we can get replacement screws since we like everything else about the barre. If you decide to buy this barre just be aware the screws need special treatment and may fail even if treated well!
Easy to assemble and my daughter needed a barre for her university dance classes at home. It does the job! Also doubles as a clothes dryer when its not being used, so double duty!
My only real complaint is on sturdiness and positioning. Its definitely not as sturdy as a lot of center bars in studios but the trade off is the size and lightweight design. Given that I am using this in home, I somewhat think its a bit annoying how much the base legs stick out. Youll be doing all those exercises at an angle.
Arrived quickly, was easy to assemble and seems like it will last well even with daily use. The padded top barre was a bonus that my daughter really liked.
My 11 year old dancer was struggling with dance during quarantine. Classes were being held using Facebook Live, she was doing her barre exercises using the back of the couch. Having a new toy made it more interesting and more like dance class. She still missed all of her dance friends but having a real barre helped her. The adjustable height is nice, if she is having difficulty with something new, we just lower the barre about an inch and she works like that until she is ready to raise the bar.
This is a great barre for dance! I bought two, one for each of the boys although they could share one each child being on either side. It can be a little too light and does move from time to time when using the barre for leg stretches. Placing the leg on top of the barre has to be done carefully as an adult or the barre can lose stability.
Easy to set up, lightweight and easy to move around. As stable as one can expect from a lightweight barre. Good idea to tighten it every so often, we have found. My teenage ballet student has been using it for zoom classes 6 days a week, and is pleased with the feel and functionality.

Wouldnt Recommend
Took a long time to assemble, the bottom part tends to slide down. It comes loose.

Not the best design but probably overall for home ballet practice

Great inexpensive barre arriving quickly

Fantastic purchase
Bought for dancer daughter to attend ballet remotely. Love that it attaches to the floor for sturdiness.

Good portable barre
