The reviews on this bed seemed mostly positive so I decided to chance it, and I am glad that I did. This bunk bed is very sturdy and will last a long time! No way that the wood would break in the way that other reviewers have posted (short of a manufacturing defect) without kids being purposefully rough on it. I ordered the Navy color and it looks great. Also ordered two twin mattresses to go with it and they fit with no problem.
I will say that as an adult it worries me a bit to go up on the top bunk. Ive been up a couple of times and it has been fine so far, but I would recommend that adults avoid going up there whenever possible as the wooden slats are clearly only intended to support children. My son loves it!!
We have had these beds 1 night but this review is based on our experience so far. Shipping wasnt too long and item came well packaged. We laid everything out for assembly as some other reviews had suggested. My husband set this up in less than an hour and had no issues. A few pieces do have some marks or maybe an imperfection in the wood that was consequently pained with the whole product but nothing stood out enough for me to feel it was damaged. We have set these up as individual beds, since our children are 4, we will wait to bunk them when they are a little older. We like the option of versatility. The beds seem sturdy and for the price, quality is nice. I wish, for my own preference, that the bolts and screws were the same color as the bed, but I knew from reviews prior this wasnt the case. Overall, first impression is a positive one. Once we get a little more wear out of these beds I will update. I also wanted to mention we are using 6 twin bamboo mattresses and they fit very nicely. Overall good.
Takes two people to assemble .the wood is great .no cheap particle wood. Lots of pieces ,but enginerred excellant ,and great quality. Made to last.at a good price. Value for money.
This is great for my boys. It is very sturdy and well made. It did take my husband several hours to put together but I think the bunk beds are worth the money. Great!
