My husband and I literally can not understand how this product received any bad reviews with the exception of the person who purchased the used one. This item came double boxed, packaged perfectly, simple instructions there is literally no way to confuse any of it. Its lightweight, My husband and I built it together in about 15minutes. Its slim enough but effective to stick in tight spaces. It comes with a screw and cloth strip to secure it to the wall to avoid any accident. The holes on the outside that some ppl complain is a design flaw is actually for other add on extensions that the company makes. The bench is sturdy for three of my children to sit on at the same time. My husband who weighs 250+ sat on it with no issue. I can fit my standard uggs in the bottom shelf comfortably (height reference) . My husband wears a size 12 and his sneakers fit lovely (length reference). It holds my kids backpacks, their coats, my heavy wool coat, my husbands heavy industrial coat. Also I remember reading a review about the bottom being not leveled well guess what the bottom pegs are screwable hence adjustable. Mine were turned all the way right and I have a flat foundation so it was perfectly leveled no issues of that. Idk what more could you ask in a product. I like it and would recommend it. Note its intended to lean against a wall I wouldnt recommend this product if your intention is to have it as a free stand it came with a wall safety screw so that it may be secured. That is all lol Well built!!
Totally pleased with this coat rack. It went together very nicely. Im 70 years young and built it myself. The size was perfect.
My only complaint is with delivery. Asked for it to be delived to my front porch, they left it at our post office! Effective.
Filling the gap in home landing upon entry! So happy a friend recommended. It is a great and useful piece. I did have trouble getting the top screws in but have used the bar as a place to hang scarves. Thank you!! Easy as it says.
Fell in love with the look but is way smaller and less study than I expected. From the picture (even from other customers) I thought the bench would be large enough to sit on to put your shoes on. This is more child/sized than for adults. Even the overall height is more suited to children / our jackets on the lower line of hooks drag onto the bench. Yes, 6 pairs of shoes fit / barely. And dont expect boots to fit as the racks are too close together to fit their height. Also I now understand the potential for tipping / because the bench/shoe racks are so small, any substantial weight on the coat hooks could pull it over. I think this would work perfectly for my 11 year old niece to hand her lighter/weight and smaller jackets on. Might scream while assembling.
