    Its perfect for me

Its perfect for me. Im short (52) and have a hard time finding a chair that my feet comfortably reach the floor. Very happy with the size and quality. It was also easy to put together. Perfect and Sturdy.

Cant rest your head, feet cant reach the ground. Otherwise a good chair. It will get used.

This is a hybrid club/chair/rocker. Im a little confused by it. First, it wasnt intuitive to assemble//we had to disassemble it halfway through and start over again. Also, allen wrenches were designed so that you can use the long end or the short end to access screws in various hard/to/reach positions, but this came with an allen wrench that had the short end blunted and rounded, which made screwing in certain hard/to/reach places with only the long end difficult. The chair itself looks cool. Its bulky and sturdy and wide enough and seems durable; if you have room for a club chair, you need a little more room for this because it rocks and you dont want to be hitting the wall. The fabric is nice. The chair slips around on carpet, sliding closer to the wall behind it. Might be better on hard floor. The weird thing is the size. The back isnt high enough to lean your head back and rest your neck. Think about it//a rocking chair (like a recliner) is for relaxing: if you want to sit in a rocker, you probably want to rest your head back while knitting, nursing, or watching a movie. Rockers arent for socializing or eating or desk work (when youd want your head up like meerkat as the club chair offers). So I immediately thought of my mother/in/law, who at 51 might be able to lean her head back, and wondered if she might enjoy holding my baby in the chair; but then comes the height of the leg portion. While the thigh/distance (depth) isnt remarkable, the seat is high off the ground. My MILs legs would be swinging above the floor. In a rocker, you need your feet to push. Also it can be simply uncomfortable to have your legs hanging. I happen to own a nursing stool which will work very well, but without it rocking the chair would be difficult, even for medium/height people. I wonder if a company made too my club chairs that had some flaw in the legs, and they had extra rockers, and hacked the two together in a pinch.

    Rock on to dreamland

This chair has many things going for it. First, it is sturdy and sits comfortably. It is well padded in all areas. The cushion Velcros to the base so it will not crawl about. The microfiber will clean easily with a damp cloth and the mildest of cleaner. The rockers have stops to keep the chair from tipping too far in either direction. The chair does not slide about as one gets in or out with a baby or not. It accommodates a large person and a baby or pet. It is also designed so any length of leg can reach the floor. One does not need a hassock to enjoy the chair. The only mildly odd aspect is that when not being sat in, it looks like it tilts back a bit much. However that does not affect using the chair at all, and it works safely and, I repeat, comfortably on wood floor or carpet. Definitely a five star item. Very easy to assemble!

Great Rocker for Nursery (Graphite Color)

I am a Grandmother that spends a lot of time with my Grandkids. I keep them every chance I get and that is most weekends and holidays when Im not working. With two small Grandsons and two more on the way I needed a nursery again at my home. I have wanted and needed a rocking chair for the nursery for some time now. This chair arrived at just the right time and its perfect for my needs. ASSEMBLY IS REQUIRED The rocker arrives in a large shipping carton that required some help getting onto my enclosed porch. From there I was able to remove the pieces one by one and take them inside. Enclosed is the chair seat base, the chair back, the cushion, two wooden rockers and two wooden supports that connect the rockers together. Assembly is putting the rocking base together first with the enclosed hardware and allen/wrench. Next is attaching the seat base to the chair back and then attaching the chair base to the rockers. The cushion slides into the chair once everything is assembled. The color of the chair, Graphite, looks exactly like its shown here. Its a medium grey color. The chair is a nice size. Just to give you an idea, I am a size 16/18 Grandmother. I fit in this chair with some room to spare. When I sit in the chair the rocker leans forward. This measures approximately 16/1/2 from the floor to the top of the seat cushion. I am 57 and when I sit in the rocker my legs extend out of the chair 6/7 inches. This is not uncomfortable. I am able to rock comfortably. The area of the seat cushion available to sit on is 20/1/2 inches wide and 19 inches deep. The chair is approximately 34 inches wide measuring from the outside armrest to armrest. The wooden rockers are approximately 33 long measured from the front to back of the rocker. They are slightly longer than the base of the chair. The tallest part of the chair is 37/38 inches measured from the floor up the back of the chair. At rest the rocker does not sit centered on the wooden rockers. The chair weight pulls the rocker backwards with most of the weight sitting on the back rockers. The chair did have a chemical smell when I opened the box but its almost dissipated after airing for a couple of days. The seat cushion and the back cushion are firm but not uncomfortable. I find its easy to stand up from sitting in the chair with baby. I have the chair on vinyl flooring but it doesnt slide around when I sit down or stand up. I havent tried it on carpet but I dont see any reason why it wouldnt rock just as easily on carpet as, vinyl or wood flooring. The microfiber material appears to be good/high quality. There were no tears, loose threads, loose upholstery anywhere on the chair. Everything arrived in new condition and was easily put together by me. No help needed with the assembly. Overall its a really nice rocker for a nursery or a bedroom. Its comfortable to sit in when rocking the babies or to just relax and read a book. I would definitely tell anyone considering this chair to go for it. Its worth it. Takes up less space.

Sweet chair for nursery / not perfect for nursing

Its a very pretty chair, beautiful rocking legs, the ECRU is an excellent color option for a boho style nursery. It is relatively comfortable, but it isnt as roomy as I would hope for nursing and the arms arent particularly comfortable. But for this price range, it is a beautiful chair, that is overall very comfortable. Would definitely buy again.
