Easy to put together, and beautiful. Solid hardwood, beautiful finish, and very sturdy. Beautiful piece of furniture. Looks much richer than most side tables I've seen in furniture showrooms. I feel like I kind of cheated life, in purchasing something this nice for so little. Great value!
I put together but the instructions weren't the best. It was shorter than I expected and the drawers pretty much hold nothing. But I can for my alarm clock and stuff on top. I have a Platform short bed w no box spring and this table is shirter than the top of my matress.
I am really pleased with this console table, although it's slightly darker than pictured! It's quite heavy and very sturdy, and was a breeze to assemble. I saw this same table on other sites for about $40 more. Would purchase again, and highly recommend.

There was marks on two of the corners on the table top when we opened the box.
