Nice End Table
The Lieck furniture is as advertised, solid wood, nicely finished. Substantial and sturdy. We love and intend to purchase more Lieck furniture in the near future.

Assembly is so simple, but this furniture is solid wood and some of the larger pieces are quite heavy and may require two people to handle. I was so impressed with the first item that I bought that I purchased 3 more living room tables. Finally, the most impressive thing about furniture is the packing they do to ship it to you. It is so well packed that any damage to the furniture could only occur if UPS dropped it from the top of their truck and then drove over it. Even then, the damage would probably be minimal. I did have a problem with screw inserts being left out of the top on the first piece I ordered. I called customer service and they were very nice and helpful. They sent the inserts, but when I could not get them properly installed, they sent a whole new top with inserts. Now that is service! Again, I have been nothing but impressed with and their furniture. You can tell these people take pride in their merchandise. Wish I needed more items, so I could order more from them.
It's a really nice night stand. Very solid and well made. And the outlets on top are really nice when you have things that need to be unplugged and/or moved frequently. It's also a really nice size. Bigger than many other night stands, which I find are typically too small.
My only gripe is that the door for the bottom cabinet only opens from the left. This may not seem like a big deal, but when you're using it on the left side of a bed, it's frustrating that it opens the wrong direction. And it wouldn't be a big deal if you could remove the hinges and attach them to the other side of the opening, but the frame is smaller on the left than on the right, so you actually can't. Really annoying.
That may not bother you, but it bothers me. I wish they would have thought this through, and either offered the ability to re-position the door, or sell two versions that open from the right or the left. Otherwise it's great.
The table arrived in good shape. Assembly was quick and easy until I attempted to install the lower shelf. It was a tight fit as the shelf rubbed against the legs and a piece of the shelf top chipped off. Clearly the shelf was not cut correctly to fit the table.

I bought two of these and really, really like them. I knocked off 1 star because they scratch REALLY easily. If you buy these, do yourself a favor and get some PVC sheeting to cover the top with, or you will scratch these up in no time. The wood is really soft.
With that said, I pretty much love these, and I really like this brand so far. I will be buying more of their stuff down the line. The price is right; the quality is very good. They went together ridiculously easily. They are super nice looking. They look way more expensive than they are.
I really wish the tops were made of harder wood. Pine iswellpine, and doesn't wear that well, imho. I'd pay extra for that. But with that caveat, I wouldn't hesitate to buy these again. In fact, I am thinking about one for my bedroom to use as a bedside stand. Good value, in my opinion.
We assembled in 30 minuets or less. Very sturdy and love the construction. If we had room for more tables I would definitely buy from this company. Sorry about the bad pictures but it is a great table.
This is a wonderful piece of furniture. It was packed very well, well made with real wood. No scratches and was in perfect condition. It took about 15 minutes to assemble. I shopped around for a few hours before picking Furniture and made a wise choice. I will be buying other pieces by this vendor because I know the quality will be there. Most of the furniture in my den and kitchen are Espresso, this is a dark Cherry which still fits in nicely..brings in a little contrast to the area. I have attached a few pictures. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who would like to order something similar.
I never write reviews. However, I had to comment on what a wonderful table this is. It is indeed very easy to assemble but do not mistake that to mean flimsy. This is solid, heavy and beautifully finished piece of fine furniture. I cannot say enough about the great workmanship and quality of this piece. I am so proud of it. I have a loveseat and sofa that are placed at an angle to each other and needed just the right table for a lamp and for coffee cups or wine glasses. This is the perfect table! I will likely never write another review but this one is very well deserved. I hope you love yours as much as I love mine!
