Not a perfect match to the cherry finish of our bedroom set but pretty close. This frame was easy to assemble and is very solid. There were some white marks on the headboard that we had to cover with a stain marker, otherwise this would get 5 stars.
This was the easiest piece of furniture that Ive had to put together since I moved into my apartment. The instructions were very clear and all parts were labeled (and looked like the illustrations in the manual!). Plus, the design and finish of the wood looks super premium and was a great value. Definitely buying a product again.
I am so pleased with this platform bed! It was very easy to assemble and looks great! The wood color is perfect for my room and matches my other bedroom furniture. The slats provide a substantial base for my king size mattress. If you're looking for an inexpensive alternative to what the commercial furniture stores offer, then this bed frame will be your answer.
Initially dubious about product due to low price ...it is by far one of best beds Ive bought..great directions, all items enclosed , very sturdy, looks great and higher clearance then prior bed. Buying 2 more... highly recommend ... you wont be disappointed
I'm a big guy weighing in around 350 pounds. When my heavy duty metal frame gave up after a month, I decided to try this product. Over 6 months later it's still going strong. I did tighten all the screws after about a month or two to make sure it was properly tightened after settling in. In all this time my only complaint is one of the slats near the bottom split in two (lengthwise parallel to the floor) when I knelt on it getting into bed. A little glue and compression fixed it though. I recommend this as an inexpensive, attractive option for a bed frame.
Received the bed yesterday and assembled it in a snap. Its not partial board, but Im not sure Id call it hardwood either. I think its a pine product. Very sturdy when assembled and Im pleased with the purchase. One recommendation: Im using it with a 12 foam mattress; the supplied slats bend fairly easily, so I just purchased the 4 inch low profile wood box spring for more support under the mattress.
