Bought this for my son's mattress and it is perfect. He is 14 and assembled it on his own. It is heavy wood and very sturdy. Total score on a great bed frame.
We recently purchased this bed for our guestroom and were pleasantly surprised at the ease of set-up. The directions were easy to read and we put the bed together in about one hour. The wood is quality and the bed is sturdy and we actually got all the pieces and parts necessary to put the bed together. I would buy this bed again and would recommend it to family and friends.
Pros: Really impressed with the quality of the wood, it's a beautiful cherry color and very sturdy. The wooden slats attach to the frame with velcro so no sliding around like my old Ikea bed. It's quiet and solid. Easy to put together with pretty good instructions and labeling.
Cons: My queen mattress hangs off either side of the queen bed frame by an inch or so, which bugs me aesthetically. I wish the headboard were a few inches higher. The sideboards have a clearance of just 5.5 inches, making most of my under bed storage boxes inaccessible. I fit them under the bed by lifting the slats and putting them underneath, but that's not a long-term solution.
How it looks in the room (style): clean, sleek and beautiful. Assembly: fairly easy to put this frame together after I stopped agonizing over the simple directions. Value: very good. Durability: very good (being solid cherry wood).
The only reason I give this bed frame 3 stars is because the color is NOTHING like the photo. It's bright orange!!!! Otherwise, very easy to assemble and sturdy.
Over the years I've purchased a great deal of furniture online, but I wanted to write this review because this bed stood out. Although it's a solid platform bed frame providing good value for money, that's not why I'm writing this. I want to commend for the accompanying instructions and presentation of the overall package for assembly. I have NEVER seen a company take so much care into making sure they provided everything a customer needs to be able to put an item of furniture together with relative ease. The instructions were well illustrated, and not only was each was step numbered, but all the tools, and hardware came packaged and each clearly labeled labeled by type to correspond with illustrated instructions. Also on said packaging was exactly how many of each I was getting. What I'm used to is everything thrown together in a plastic bag, and me trying to figure out which bolt or screw is which. I was able to assemble the bed by myself without the usual frustration, cursing. Obviously, the most important thing is that it's a good product. Which it is. All parts were received well packaged, and in perfect condition. All the holes lined up and everything fit per the instructions, and the product is exactly as depicted in the listing. Highly recommend.
I've had this for over a year now. Sturdy, excellent, basic frame. I wanted a real wood frame, with slats that were close enough together to support a futon. This frame delivers, at a great value. I am honestly shocked how good it is considering I ordered it on and for the price I paid. It's not super lux, but it is functional and attractive. Highly recommend.
Item was VERY well packaged....double boxed and well padded. Best packaged item I have seen in a long time. No room for any item to move inside box. Very easy to assemble with excellent instructions. Extremely sturdy and very nice looking bed. We were very impressed.
Would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a quality bed frame.
It is well made and the parts all fit together exactly as they should, like Legos. There are definitely cheaper alternatives, but this is definitely a product where you get what you pay for. The frame looks great and total assembly took me no longer 20 or 30 minutes as a single person.
I am beyond pleased with this bed frame. SO easy and quick to put together. I got the Rustic Pine and am very happy with the color and grain. I did not put the two sided tape on it and my memory foam mattress stays in place ... Always. Shipment was prompt, packaging protected the frame very well. So pleased!
