My two teenage children ages 16 and 13 wanted to have their own space and have enough room as they grow. My 13/year/old is 53 and he has enough head space sitting straight up his head does not come close to our 8 feet ceilings my daughter is in the bottom bunk and she is 55 has plenty of space of not coming close to touching the top of the upper bunk. The bed was easy to assemble it took about two hours.:, my teens put it together themselves; and at the end we made sure everything was sturdy The bed does move a little when moving around; not too much that we are scared or concerned. Wr are not confident in the sturdiness of the steel beams as well as the frame being durable We will try to find some padding for the steps
its a little hard on the feet ;but nothing that will harm a child .:we were very happy with our purchase and happy with the quality of the beds. It is beautiful and functional.
We got the loft bed in this same brand for our sons room and he loves it. We are going through licensing to foster/adopt so wanted to get a full over full bunk bed in the big room thats currently used as the kids playroom. My husband ended up down with a migraine the day it got delivered but I was able to assemble it by myself, with a little help from my 6 and 5 year olds. I am short, just shy of 5 but never had any issues. I had my 6 year old daughter stand on a step stool to help hold the side rails when putting the two ends together, that was the most difficult part. It took me about an hour and a half total, that includes multiple trips carrying all the stuff back to the room since I could not move the complete box by myself. The worst part of the entire thing is the plastic spacer things at the very end. I got pinched and my daughter got pinched. But if that is the worst part, I cant complain at all! Overall, great value for the price.
This works just fine for my young kids, it is a great space saver for small rooms, but there are things you should know.
The instructions were awful. A standard full mattress does not fit. You want to get a thick memory foam mattress. We now have a full we bought and no one needs so it will probably go to the dump. It also squeaks a lot. One kid refuses to go on top because it freaks her out how much it squeaks, I had to convince her it wasnt going to fall on her. This product was just what I needed
Im pleasantly surprised with the overall craftsmanship of the metal pieces! Every piece of the unassembled beds had nice solid powder coating throughout (I purchased the blue color beds), I didnt see any flaws in the paint or welding. The metal bars/slats arent flimsy at all! My 710 year old sons and I put it together easily in roughly 2 hours, according to the easy/to/follow instructions. Yes, it wobbles some, but for the intended use by young children its a great buy for the low cost! Its tall in an 8 ceiling, so my 7 year old fits fine. Ive even been on the top bunk (59) with my son reading and felt secure! I honestly love
So easy to put together. Only negative is it squeaks so loud. Like there is a annoying noise that comes from the screws even after theyre super tight. I loosened them up, tightened them and still the noise. Even my kids are beyond annoyed. not happy at all
Was much taller than I thought it would be. Guess I should have looked over the dimensions better. Not very solid either it tends to move quite a bit. may be returning
Bunk bed was bigger than expected! Easy to assemble. Note that the bottom bunk is close to the floor so dont expect to put anything on the bottom of the bunk. Other than that it was worth purchasing!! Good Quality for Cost
I bought this for my girls 3 and 6 years old. Both seem to be scared of the top bunk but the bottom is big enough for both. Super easy to assemble and so worth the money!
The bottom part is bigger than the mattress, tends to rob once its on top, the top is tight with the railing, the assemble is very good, but tends to move when children go up, I consider it a little unstable, my solution was to fix it to the wall, by design is the best Functional design

Not a true full. Difficult instructions. Still fine.

Easy to assemble, does the job!
Easy to assemble but due to the bed being metal it can be noisy when getting on and off the beds. We all love it!
Very good money spent
