I bought it to work from home in my bedroom. I have a small room fits just right. Was fairly easy to assemble but putting the desk top part was tricky, maybe it was just mine. It didnt want to fit in properly due to screws not aligning, so I left those screws out, it did not compromise the sturdiness of the desk.
I wanted a little smaller desk for my laptop and extra keyboard, mouse. It has two drawers that I like for my pens, ruler, scissors, and extra office supplies. The handles are somewhat sharp on the edges and found that out the hard way. When I went to sit in my office chair, I was too close to handle and it caught my pants, had to sew up the hole in my pants, so be careful! I like that I can put my plastic 3 drawer file cabinet under it, I made sure it would fit before I purchased the desk by looking at the dimensions. It looks nice and like the price.
The ONLY thing I found a little difficult was inserting the drawers correctly to get them to slide easily in and out. They are in and I just have to exert a little effort to get them to slide. I think with time they will glide more easily. Other than that / I LOVE IT!!!
I have several pieces of furniture in my home that are imitation wood (compressed wood, MDF or however we want to call it) and Im quite please with them, yet this is the only one that I feel had the poorest quality.
The veneer that covers the wood is very thin, so Id assume it gets scratched easily / it also has this weird shine to it, which takes away the whole wood feel that these products are intended to simulate. As to the quality of the wood: Ive used power tools with MDF furniture before and had no problems, but as I was getting the pieces out of the box I decided Id listen to the instructions for once (lol) and did it all manually, and hearing the wood crackle like it was about to break whenever I tightened something up, or seeing the veneer lift around the edges of the holes whenever I screwed in a cam screw Yikes Luckily, once done putting it together, you dont see any of that lol
The reason why I give this a 5 star and not 4 or 3 is because at the end of the day, youre getting just what you paid for. I could not find a desk this big + with drawers anywhere else for this price. So I might be too critical of a product that does not deserve this much criticism, given its price.
I rated sturdiness 4/5 stars because while putting it together it kind of feels like the pieces are just gonna crack on ya right then and there but once put all together it feels nice and solid.
Drawers are nice and smooth (at least for me) and I was able to put this together fairly quickly. Its the perfect desk for my home office!
All in all, great product for the price I paid for!
Ive been really gentle with the top because of other reviews / so far so good. The drawers are terrible though. You have to push so hard (where you feel like youre going to break them) to get them flush, then you have to pull with all your might to get them open.

Better if the sliders werent broken
