This is a small, non fire rated safe

This safe does what is intended, will keep people away from whatever valuables stored. This is NOT a high end or fire proof safe, and is smaller than you would expect but will house 4/5 rifles with side lights, scopes etc. I do like the biometric function which makes this a very quick reaction rifle safe that you can put just about anywhere in the house for quick access. My only improvements would be to smooth or round inside metal that holds the rubber barrel mount (very sharp edges) and put some threaded bosses for some leveling feet. Otherwise, its not a bad keep hands off safe for the money. Good but could be better

    Biometrics dont work!!

Its okay but the biometrics on the safe is horrible. I cant seem to program my fingerprints to biometrics. Honestly, the quality is not worth 400 its more like a 200 safe at most. Ive emailed the company about the biometrics hopefully I hear from them if not I dont know how Im ping to return this big thing. Pretty disappointing purchase for the price.

Very easy to use and program

Like most new modern technology I thought this was going to take an act of Congress to be able to program with the thumbprint and the code it was easy as pie easiest thing Ive ever done I am very impressed with it

    Rifle Safe With A Rattle

Works as advertised, its a low end rifle safe with one objectionable trait. I lagged the safe to my bedroom floor (tile/concrete) and made sure the safe before lagging did not rock, all four corners were stable once in position. After lagging and using oversized washers along with those supplied with the safe I noticed with finger tip pressure at the top of the safe the safe would rock 1. The rock was caused by the 14 ga floor bending or flexing with the side pressure at the top, and at the same time the top compartment door would rattle, the compartment door latch is not a tight fit. This is probably not a problem if the safe is lagged at the bottom side, but the side option would not work in my setting. I fixed the problem by having a ¼ steel plate cut (50) at the local machine shop, and then I drilled clearance holes for the lagging screws (I did not use the supplied hardware), problems solved. The safe is solid with any side pressures that I can apply, and with he rock tamed the top compartment door does not rattle.

Package materials and shipping handling not appropriate!

My Rifle safe arrived today. To my disappointment, a close inspection revealed multiple damaged areas to include but not limited to deep scratches, dents including cracks, missing hardware and a broken inner safe locking latch. It appears as if it was dropped multiple times. Please advise how to proceed from here. I do not want another one. Only my money refunded. It is a large and heavy piece. Wouldnt recommend

DOESNT STAND UP ON OWN WHEN DOOR IS OPEN

Hood cabinet but not a safe

It is a solid place to store important items but if someone were to somehow steal the whole safe it would take 5 minutes to cut it open as the door is the only thick metal part of this safe. The door itself outweighs the rest of the safe

Shipping and delivery was bad, safe itself does the job.

Safe works fine, was damaged when I got it though
