used febreeze, but the odor is still there. Be cautious if you have linoleum flooring, the legs will cause indentations in the tile. I put sliders under it to prevent any more damage to the floor.
Great size and good quality. I used it at the foot of my bed for storage and to replace the dog stairs that my pomeranians used to climb up. This is a much better solution and matches my furniture well.

The ottoman arrived earlier than expected, today! It is exactly as described and true to color. The packaging was great, and the product arrived nicely packaged (except that it does say on the outside of the box exactly what is inside, so might want to be on the lookout for it, so it can be intercepted from thieves). It feels and looks expensive. It had no defect, and I absolutely love it! A purchase I would recommend!

Purchased this for my son and daughter/in/law to use as a toy box in their family room for my grandsons toys. The hinges are very nice and close slowly so not to slam on his fingers. For now, they are leaving the legs off, so I cant comment on how well/sturdy they are.
