The unit looks good assembled, but it is particle board. For the money, I think it is possible to do better. The unit has plenty of storage, and the shelves and brackets seem to provide adequate reinforcement to the structure. The bench gets ample use, so I will revise my review after I see how well it holds up to constant use. Its not bad its just not great.
Its great! Its sturdy, just the right size for my small space and was easy to put together. Most of all love that it opens for more storage space and allows me to sit and put my footwear on each day. Looks atmospheric
I almost didnt buy this shoe bench because of all the reviews about the holes not lining up and screws breaking through. However, the holes lined up exactly as they should. If you are ly and think the holes will line up while lying on the ground, youre mistaken. Because of the many offsets of the bench (which adds to the look / see photos), sometimes you have to lift the parts slightly off the ground so they line up. Also, using the included screwdriver helps keep piece ten (10) off the ground and lined up (see photo). As long as you use the short screws (as instructed), the screws do not break through the wood. Yes, its particle board, but it has many screws at the correct pressure points to support your weight. To see realistically how many shoes it holds, I wear 11.5 to 12 shoes; about three pairs fit per shelf and hang out slightly. Stylish yet affordable
Im not that great at putting things together but it really wasnt too hard to assemble. As shown, this holds six pairs of shoes and then has the extra cubby, I ended up putting another pair of shoes in that larger cubby. I probably wont put wet boots or anything in it once winter gets here, but all summer etc. this is good for storage. The item is sturdy and I can sit on it to change shoes etc. I keep my garden hat and gloves in the seat storage and will switch out for my winter gloves soon. Only goofy thing was the seat cover got pinched a bit in the box and had a dent in it (the foam was pressed in ). I squeezed it out for the most part but it wasnt a big deal, the cushion is thinnish but it works out fine. I like the sturdy framing. Over all, good item for the . Make sure you measure. Met my needs perfectly!

Great utility
I like that it has a top cubby. Fits 6 shoes and one pair of boots. The cushion on top doesnt lay flat but its fine for me. Gorgeous and Good Quality
