My wife and I had important paperwork spread throughout our house which made locating important documents a challenge.
We always planned on finding a desk with a file drawer to put our important papers but never found one to our liking.
Finally, we had enough and ordered this file drawer.
Now we are organized and threw away a bunch of unnecessary paperwork in the process.
The file drawer is lightweight but sturdy and only the handles needed to be installed.
We are very happy with our purchase.
Obviously there are better higher quality filing cabinets out there but I didnt need to spend hundreds of dollars on one. For this price point its an amazing value. Looks much more expensive than it is. Highly recommend.
The desk seems like it will last a while in home office. Fairly easy to put together except for one missing piece of information pertaining to the drawer slides. The instructions dont mention that they need to be separated using the black plastic tabs and slide the smallest piece out to mount on the sides of the drawers and the remaining part to the inside of the cabinet. Had to do some searching on the internet to find out how to install them. Once figured out things went together smoothly.
I bought this for My daughter to put in the nursery and she was able to. Assemble it herself before her husband got home from work, and shes pregnant. So very easy to assemble. Very well built, great value!
Disappointed that the file cabinet came with no key for the lock. I checked inside the cabinet and throughout the box. That was a big motivation for my purchase. So much for quality control!!

Works well
Works well as a home filing cabinet especially if your security needs are not great. Would not be hard to break into or probably become incinerated.
