    Good product. Sturdy

Good product. Sturdy. Only concern is that there is nothing holding the beds together when configured as bunks. Our grandson can push the upper bunk up off the lower bed. A simple fix, but would be nice if connectors were provided. .

    Good looking value bunk beds.

Bunk beds are well made and were easy to install. I was not missing any pieces and the parts were well packaged and arrived without damage. The only downside is that the wood used is some sort of lightweight pine, but it does seem sturdy. Also the mattress support wood is unfinished and not really even sanded, which seems like an oversight given that they are exposed to view on the top bunk.

Good value and easy to assemble

Good, solid construction. My husband (age 65+) put it together himself in less than 4 hours. I just had to help him lift one bed on top of the other. Because of the slats supporting the mattresses we opted to have 1/4 wood cut to the size of the mattress for better support. We were concerned when the somewhat soft mattresses would bulge out of the bottom when our grandchildren would kneel on the beds. The main reason we bought this brand is the claim that it can hold 250 lbs. per bed. Hopefully we will never have to test its limits. We have had it for more than a month now and our grandchildren have slept in it about 6 times. So far, so good.

Gorgeous bunk bed at a fabulous price

So sturdy and well made. Looks expensive and goes well with our coastal cabin decor. We have gotten many compliments!! Prime shipping a lifesaver for these types of heavy items!

    Good for the price

Requires someone good/handy with putting furniture and having all the right tools. But once put together, absolutely beautiful and sturdy. Can see how it would be a problem if you dont have a drill. Kids love it!

    Good Beds, But

First and foremost, look at the price. Yes, you get what you pay for. This is a nice set. It is sturdy and the finish is as durable as it gets without being lacquer. But, you are taking your chances ordering this. Three of the pieces were defective. So we could not assemble the top bunk for about a week after we received this. Our son was disappointed that he had to sleep on his new mattress on the floor for a week, while our other son got to sleep in his big boy bed. One piece was split and cracked. The cracked piece was the sandwiched wood that I saw mentioned in another review. It was clear it split from temperature or moisture. It was not the same solid wood that all of the other pieces are made of. Two of the other pieces were damaged in manufacturing. It was clear they were damaged in a machine that they were fed into before being stained and finished. The company was nice enough and did send replacements. I dont like to give bad reviews for damage that is replaced, because we have a few high end special order pieces from Macys Furniture, and even one of the very expensive leather sofas came damaged. And Macys tried to not replace it, even though I tried to reject it on delivery. The days of getting a perfect furniture delivery are long gone for a good 15 / 20 years. This company gave us no problem getting the replacements. And once all together it is a good sturdy piece. I could get on the top bunk at 220+ lbs. Though it is a little light and started to tip over as I climbed up the small ladder. It is supposedly pine but I believe things labeled pine now a days are a lighter tropical wood and not true pine, which is heavier. The slats that hold the beds were very good quality hardwood and look like oak. These are strong enough to hold anyone on these beds. The finish is very, very durable. The unassembled pieces were in the kids room on the floor for a week and I heard them get banged around more than once, without getting damaged. If you order this, expect there to be damaged pieces and expect to wait another week before putting it all together. The kids will be disappointed if they are looking forward to getting their new bed. So be warned, it is likely to be delivered with damage, which requires you to go through the company return process. It took about 30 mins to put the bottom bunk together and another 45/50 minutes to put the top together. You will want to have a good drill handy to drill the slats that hold the beds and to drill the support that runs on the outside of the top bunk/both of these use wood screws with no predrilled holes. Once all together it is a very nice bed for kids. Just expect there to be damaged pieces. It is a waste for the company that makes these to do it this way. But, if this set came 100 perfect 100 of the time, it would cost more than double this price. Even with the hassle and delay, it is still well worth this price.

    Great, my son loves it

Great, my son loves it, however it did have some slight scratches on it. But nothing too obvious. I am using polish also so it most gone. Good as new. The great thing is the bed is strong. My uncle fell asleep on the top bunk, no problems.
