Light, small footprint, safety hinges, roomy, well-constructed. I was very pleased with this product. I wanted a coffee table as I once had (and gave to my son), but couldn't find anything with a 30 or less footprint, round, square or rectangular. But when I thought about how I always put my feet on the coffee table, I opted for a bench. This one is perfect. Inexpensive, nice solid top (can place stemware on top of its very level and stable surface), low profile, stylish, and with lots of room inside (fits 2-3 standard size throws). Highly recommend. I'm shocked at the quality of this table. We needed a soft sided square table to put in front of a small sectional that was baby friendly. PERFECT. It's definitely not but it does not look cheap. I'm sure it'll last us through the toddler years.
I bought this product to use as extra storage, coffee table and foot rest. We do not sit on it but I feel it is sturdy enough to use as occasional seating. It matches well with our furniture, we bought the black and it's easy to clean. The spring hinge keeps it open so it doesn't slam shut. We have 4 kids, two dogs and 2 cats and it's held up. Easy to store blankets, a dog leash, books, I plan to buy another. So yes, I am pleased with this product.
Very pleased for the price point! I purchased this for use in our finished basement that does not receive a lot of traffic. The ottoman arrives well packaged. The color is a dark, flat black. The legs simple screw on. It comes with an additional 4 screws to add support and keep the legs from unscrewing. The hinge is a slow closing hinge, so there are no worries of pinched fingers. It is a bit lighter in weight than I would have l liked, but I didn't want to pay $300 for one either. This is a great price point and adds a nice look to the room. Love it! I get a lot of compliments on it! Wish the legs were black instead of cherry wood color but I am going to order other legs to replace them. Wish it was a little higher but its nothing that new higher legs can't fix! ;) It's small enough for my apt. It's not too big. 27X27
