We bought the bed and other furnishings in April. The house was getting Painted and remodeled . We just started putting items together and this is what we found. First , Spanish instructions only and we only speak English. All the contents in the box are damaged. Missing hardware to put the bed together and child like writing on the bed.
We have never ordered any merchandise that had these problems. Please refund our purchase so we can get our child a bed.
My 14 year old daughter really wanted a white day bed. I really like the solid wood design rather than the standard squeaky metal day beds. This bed was easy to put together but def needed two people - one person to hold and one person to screw in the bolts. The locking nuts were a pain and did need a little finessing before they clicked into place. Lower to the ground so under the bed storage is limited to the flat totes or smaller items. Were using a standard 8 memory foam twin mattress with no box spring. Overall a very cute bed, very sturdy and comfortable to sleep on by my teen.
Overall I am pleased with this product. It was well packaged and arrived with no damage at all. Wood had no marks or chips. Quite easy to assemble as well. It looks lovely. The only issue I have with it is that there are no wood plugs to cover the screws heads that are visible .I will have to paint those but still will be able to see that they are screw heads. I would love it if the company would provide those after the fact. Overall I am pleased with this day bed but those screw heads are bugging me..
cheap but attractive. would look better with trundle or skirt because front and side lower bars not intended as even visually... looks fine when made. I was actually pretty afraid for the price this would be a make do temporary solution but we like it alot. not bucky board bed slats...meh....fits twin mattress we had.
tip: after placing all decor slates on sides and back together when assembling, use rope or belt to cinch down and hold together as you put the rest of the bed together. keeps them from popping out and driving you mad.
