I needed shelves to fit into a 29 space in my office. Most of the available options were 31.5, so I was very happy to find these and I am glad I took a chance on them. They are nice and tall, maximizing use of vertical space. We have assembled lots of furniture, and these shelves were easy. I think it helped us to be slow and methodical, counting all the parts and reviewing the directions a few times before starting the project. It also helped A LOT to have a ratcheting screwdriver with a hex bit. It does come with a small wrench however. There was information about how to contact the company with any issues, but luckily we did not need to. Its good to have a helper around at the end to line everything up. Were pleased.
It was very easy to put together. However the only downside is it “requires” you to screw an L bracket to the wall to secure the shelf. I skipped this part. As long as you don’t have anything shake it it’s pretty sturdy. The most delicate thing is put on it is a bottle of wine.
This shelf is relatively easy to assemble, but that being said...the instructions are terrible. Im pretty handy so I was able to decipher the pictographs pretty easily, but I can honestly see why people struggle to put this together using the provided build instructions.
That being said, this shelf is even nicer in person than I expected and overall a decent price considering its look and sturdiness. The shelves are not 100% wood but they still look really nice and are heavy and solid. It works perfectly for my pantry and I plan to buy one or 2 more to complete my project. I would recommend having a cordless drill and bit set as it will make assembly much easier than trying to turn in all the screws by hand. I did it myself in about 40 minutes with the distraction of 2 active toddlers but it could be done faster having a second person to hold the legs during shelf installation and assembly.
I would definitely recommend for your pantry!
I needed a shelf in my kitchen for all of the miscellaneous spices, oils, vinegars, etc. I wanted something open so I could easily find my spices without having to dig through a a cabinet. This did the trick! Looks great, very sturdy, and lots of room!
