I put a soft blanket on my cushion for extra comfort cause the fabric is like a modern linen couch quality, not bad but im picky about textures! But this is a solid chair, doesnt slide on my carpet as other reviews have said. I feel slightly short in it, like i should use maybe a ottoman to push off of cause i feel i need to stretch my foot pretty far when pushing back. But great quality chair, modern and cute, does its job! This will last far longer than nursery gliders of the same price for sure!
I was a bit concerned how you put a rocking chair packed in a flat box together. The back and seat are already assembled. It ook about 30min to put together with the tools that come with it. One person may be able to assemble it, but a second person may be better, to help hold pieces that are already assembled. It is BIG. Im 58 and my feet hardly touch the floor. I wont be able to add any cushion, but thats okay, because its a very sleek design and smooth finish. Im super happy with this.
I like them, not fast but mostly easy to put together. Just make sure that you dont put any structure pieces upside down. They look modern, not so old timey. I got my cushions at plow and hearth outlet

Rocker Workmanship ( not good)
The cutting was off. The holes didnt match up. Had to force it together. Wood is showing thats not painted.
