I decided to purchase two of these despite all of the horrible reviews posted. Turns out, they are actually pretty good rocking chairs. It wasnt hard for me to assemble. I did have to use a power drill for four of the screws but it wasnt hard at all. The chairs look great and are very sturdy and nicely finished. Im not sure if I just got the good batches or what but, I recommend these by far.
Edit: Two years later and these chairs still hold up pretty well. They look the same as they did when I bought them! No regrets.
Big issue for me is that this is NOT SAFE especially with a baby. The bottom cushion is supported by only a thin layer of cloth. You could easily fall through. This product needs to be discontinued or fixed.

We have it on our front porch and it has the perfect amount of rock. Nice and sturdy.
