Seems ripping open from just months of use.

I got this chair in February and was really pleased with the look as well as the comfort. However, about three months ago (in August) I noticed the seems were beginning to split on the seat of the cushion. Additionally, one seem completely opened up, and I can see another beginning to form now. This chair was rated for the average person, and I only weigh 110 pounds so Im confused as to why this chair is breaking already. Hopefully customer service will be able to offer some since their products shouldnt be this easily damaged from just sitting on it within months of purchase.

    Comfortable and sturdy chair

I love this chair. Only problem(literally only problem) is the blue color in person is more like a turquoise than light blue, like the picture shows. I really wanted the pale light blue but Ill try to make it work because the quality and comfort is awesome!

    READ THE RETURN POLICY!!!

First of all, Id like to give a shout out to Paul at Diamond Homes for excellent customer service. That being said, the chairs I received were far from the description. Except for the design on the fabric, I believe that the item descriptions were somehow crisscrossed. As for quality, for the price they are nice chairs, but READ the RETURN POLICY! Because my chairs ( I only opened one, though) were nowhere near velvet, or dark gray, Paul was kind enough to let me return them without having to pay return shipping. I didnt even assemble the one I opened, because I asked at least 5 people what color they were and if they considered it to be anywhere close to velvet. The answers were tan/beige and No. The material was probably much sturdier than velvet but I did expect it to be a much softer material. The policy says if its not the color you expect that you pay return shipping, but because it was nothing as described except the pattern on the material, God and Paul took great care of me. If I had needed tan linen like material I would have happily kept them.

    Get what you see.

Bought as a gift for my mother and she loved it. The chair was as described, easy to assemble, comfy and sturdy. I would purchase again.

    Good enough and comfy

For the price, a good chair. It takes 2 people to put it together without losing your mind. You might have to squeeze the arms together to get the back to slide on properly.

    Perfection

I love everything about this chair. Its a beautiful deep royal blue velvet. Comfortable for an hour or so of sitting. Not a chair to curl up in for the entire evening. A friend says he doesnt care how the arms sit, which does feel weird, but I havent noticed. Perfect for a side chair, entry room chair, or bedroom.

Good quality with easy to screw on sturdy legs.

Chair cushion is medium softness and all the stitching looks very nice. The wooden legs definitely has a little orange tone to them which I will try to tone down. It is great for a smaller space but not the chair you want if you want to put pillows or a throw in my opinion. I think its a great price for a great chair. Also worth mentioning is the legs are held in a box underneath with 2 pieces of fabric that the chair is made from which is great if you want a sample to to take with you to get a perfect match for other items.

    Comfy reader

I love sitting in it to read or watch tv in my bedroom. My bedroom is fairly spacious so even though the chair is quite large it fits well. Glad I made the purchase.
