The material is mid-grade synthetic and suitable for outdoors. The stitching could be improved but it does the job. Tabs are perfectly snug and durable. I liked how easy it was to replace. Even easier when two people are working. Just be sure to measure and it fits perfectly.
It was literally more effort to remove my OLD shade than it was to put this new one on! It truly is as easy as they say. I am not that strong particularly.more than likely you will need a step ladder if you have your umbrella already in a base.
Each summer we like to replace some faded umbrellas and it is expensive! We found these tops that can be used instead of replacing the entire metal component. These just screw onto the top of your original pole and the umbrellas look like new! Very easy to change out! A great savings.
I try to reduce waste when I can. Was so happy to find a replacement top to avoid buying an entire new umbrella. Cant beat it for the price. Fits perfectly. Took seconds to put on.. Has a tie to secure when closed. It has rained and it doesnt come through. Love the color. You can see in the 2 photos how faded my navy blue one was. The dark parts were the inside. I didnt care about that so much, but it started to fall about where the spokes connect and I was done sewing it up. The old top will be dropped into a textile recycling bin. See if they have them in your area. They shred to make filling and who knows what. Really happy with the new umbrella top. I actually choose to get it for a few dollars less buying used and it is perfect. Maybe considers returns used I always check that when there is the option in the listing. Worth it to me. I have luck with refurbished items too. Every $ helps.

Canopy is good quality for the money, however, the color fades in less than 1 month.
